i wish to ask that do we need income certificate while applying online...gt bit confused, gng thru the instructions....
also its given in the brochure that at the time of PIT/PT one has to submit income cetificate ..
I wanted to confirm that in case of agriculture income (farmer) ,is a certificate from revenue authority a valid one????? becoz my parents don't file any ITR's.....farmers usually don't...
Secondly ,Should the certificate be for financial year 2011-12 or 2010-11...it has been specially mentioned 4 SC ST category to get income certificate for 2010-11 ,n the first line asks about the ITR's or income certificate for previous year(which according to me should be 2011-12)... m frm general category,so wheteher the certificate should be for 2010-11 or 2011-12......

not be considered and the processing fee will not be refunded. Candidates belonging to SC
and ST categories and whose parent's/guardian's income is below Rs. 2 Lakh and Rs. 1.45
Lakh, respectively, need not send the challan, but should send the attested copy of income
