@gdm4u87 Can you plz help me coz while filling the academic details,it si been asked to enter our respective marks and grand total, but the problem is that my university gives only grades.So what should I fill in that?

A request to everyone here--We are tied up in our schedule and might not be able to answer individual queries. TISS has provided the option of TISS care for the same reason.
We can promptly answer queries related to HR or some other program. But for specific queries while filling up forms, technical errors etc., you need to reach out to TISS Care.
Also, please go through the brochure carefully before filling up the application. More than half of your queries won't arise at all if u do that.
Having gone through the same phase some time back , we can understand the anxiety and excitement u guys might be having.
But also do understand the fact that current first years are having their final exams right now and my batch mates were busy in the block fieldworks ....So appreciate the time taken out by juniors in handling the queries and use the Personal message option judiciously .....
The last question one should be asking is "why not TISS offers MBA instead of MA" . This does not show the intentions towards college in good light .
Be sensible in asking ur queries .
TISS admin people are the friendliest bunch u would ever come across . So don't freak out in case if u have commited any mistakes in filling the form. TISS CARE people really helps,,so make good use of them for doubts on application related queries . Or else wait a few days before filling the forms , so that fellow puys themselves can clarify doubts
Remember TISS is a UGC funded deemed university . Fees is at max 1 lakh ( Most people get back their fees with summer stipends ) . So dont expect a jazzy website giving all details . Make some good use of Google . U have truck loads of info there

@pagalguy366 i believe you can apply.....cos session 2013 me shuru hoga ...... and normally the submission of degree is near by in october in the same year.... so next year when u will appear make sure you clear it and submit your degree by october .....and continue with the session.

Management of Voluntary Organisations (One-year, Full-time degree programme)
Details given in brochure "Only candidates with a Master €™s degree and work experience will be considered for the one-year, full-time Master €™s Degree programmes in Management of Voluntary Organisations and Mental Health. Those who do not possess a master €™s degree and a minimum 3 years experience need not apply. "
here they haven't mentioned regarding 1. work experience, till what date 3 years will be considered 2. Information regarding which Master's degree holders are eligible etc...
Since this program is conducted by School of Social Work, it will help us more if someone in M.A. Social work can get in touch with concerned program coordinators and let us know more details...

I have a doubt regarding the TISS entrance...on the online form it is mentioned that we can take the test either in an online format or paper-pen format. The date for "Online test" is explicitly mentioned as 13th Jan'12. However, the date for the written format is not mentioned. Will it be different? If yes, when?

both format of exam will be conducted on same day (13 January 2013)
we are all waiting for Model Paper which is suppose to be uploaded on 30th Oct, till then can't predict anything.. But still we have analytical ability in TISS CET...
