It doesn't matter whats your stream , they will always ask you about its implementation in rural/ agricultural development..As if you will check there curriculum you will see a field work mention in first two semester ....
So, even if you are not very sound in your technical papaer, at least prepare for your stream application in Rural and Agricultural development ..

If you can revise some important topic/paper of your 3rd and 4th year , that will help you a lot . But just get a overview , as you dont have that much time ..This will give them a impression that you have knowledge but just need to brush up .

Why HRM , and Why XISS these two questions are for sure ....But please make sure they are evaluating your each and every word ..so you must co-relate them , that wont sound different to them ..

No GD ke start main koi introduction nahi hota ...If you are staring the GD start it with small a welcome note , mention your point and explain it ...

and i think why xiss because xiss hr is renowned and if we judge it in terms of roi also its very good....can we tell like that?

Ok ! Guys a view of my GD/PI experience here :


Date : 18th Feb, 2013
Venue : Indian Social Institute , Delhi
Time : 8:30 AM

GD Topic - TV channel clean our culture
Time given : 20 min
Initial 2 min. to think about it and final 2 mins to conclude
Total number of participants - 12

I started the GD and mentioned my views there , after that other started to discuss the topic , i listened to them and tried to make a note of there points .. In between i too contributed twice , gradually it became a fish market , and finally we were asked to conclude (not before the actual time given) ...Conclusion couldn't took place (can't blame particular as its natural)

PI - 2nd Group , 3rd Person
Number of persons in the Panel 3 , i am mentioning here as P1, P2 and P3

P1 : So your name

P3 : Ok! Ashish are you working ?

P2 : Ashish tell something about yourself

He interrupted me in between while i was about to finish

P1 : People are spirit of organization and Technology is material , do you agree with this ? justify

P1 : Ashish! why you have given Finance as your second Option ?

P3 : Ashish! I am giving you a situation , tell me what you will do in that situation . You want to implement a technology in your organization but people are not ready to accept it , how you will convince them

P3 : you implement a technology in a shop and that caused loss , how you will explain it

P1 : Ashish! Have you ever meet a HR person in your working tenure , tell me about its profile and your experience

P1 ; what is value of being organized ..Suppose you have some books , and few among them are "DO NUMBER " (i hope you understand Do number , this is what he told me ) How you gonna arrange it to make it attractive in your work place ...
