I believe all the seniors are busy in the final recruitment process : SBI General Insurance Co campus recruitment for Sales profile (CTC Rs 3 lpa) on 8-9 Mar 2013(details given in students notice section in the websiteof xiss). more than 20 students of marketing and finance are participating.... this gives us a vague idea about the average package of these departments....... placements not going to well for pgdbm........what say friends.....

Those who are not able to get admission at XISS, Ranchi or their first preference make all sorts of negative comment about the institute and it's selection process. Had been that the case (back door entry or unfair admissions) the cut off would have not gone as high as by 50 percentage point over last year. Even at these high cut offs you can see the large number of applications. Almost 1100 candidates have been called for GD/PI for all the specializations put together.
Also at XISS, Ranchi we don't play with the numbers of placement figures in order to boost our admission like other colleges. Whatever data you get about placements is the fair information, and no juggling with numbers. Because we understand our social responsibility. That's why XISS Ranchi never publishes it's placement data before admissions. Those who have come for their GD/PI at Ranchi must have noticed that there was not a single notice put up on 'Placement Notice Board'. All the placement related notices were removed. All the placement notices are put up on website so anyone can have a fair idea.
