@siya23 : As far as I remember , preferences can't be changed now .
But was just curious to know why are you confused so much about preference .
If your selection criteria only includes placement than you have very short sighted approach.

Last year it went till 650 .. The seats have been increased this time.. Wait till 3rd list

I guess that is how conversion/waitlist means. After 10 straight B school rejects(courses I had applied to), someone at least waitlisted me, even though I had an abysmal NMAT score, grad score and too little work ex. Yes, 10 B school rejects, including foreign and Indian B schools.

@arjunloser18 Bah NMIMS Bangalore and CM (had I applied for it. I remember thinking long and hard at the white sheet last year when they asked me to change preferences, like really hard, I'll explain the back story in AIWTSAC one day. So I like to amuse myself that I am a CM convert Batch of 2012-14. Something you do when you're rejected endlessly :)) This year of course it was easy for me, only FT MBA. My heart's set on Marketing, that's why I switched to Advertising after engineering.

First convert of my life 
Result: Selected for Banking Management but waitlisted for FT-MBA(which is my 1st preference). My merit rank is 920 in FTMBA.
So, my question is if I do not confirm my seat for Banking management, will I be still eligible for FT MBA??
Another qn: Does the waitlist count starts after 360 or is it from the beginning?? I mean last year the merit list went till 647 or the waitlist went to 647???
will anyone please tell me if i pay the fees for MBA-CM, then will I be still eligible for FTMBA??
