@shiviyer tell them to write that you have passed all papers upto 6 sem(show them your original marksheets) .and 7 sem result is awaiting( if that be the case) and 8 sem papers will be during this time. My college people wrote this and it is sufficient.

i was told the same about the package and the placements.
and if i am spreading incorrect info then why dont you guys tell us about the package and the placements.
before contacting that guy i tried it on PG and FB but none of the seniors told anything about the package or the placements.
our future depends on the decision that we have to take in 1O days...what else are we suppose to do?

@frhnnn well buddy i have also enquired about the packages and profiles given to students and i have not come accross this figure. if you could give a reliable proof that would be great.
That's the pain buddy. No one will talk about placements on PG forums. This phenomenon is not specific to NM only. It is the practice followed by students across most of the b-schools in India. I tried to explain this thing on this forum itself. You try as many number of times you want you will be directed towards the official placement figures. Their logic (i personally dont subscribe to it) is:- 'In this age of cut throat competition you don't want to dish out placement figures to the competition (read other institutions) on a platter. The same companies visit multiple institutes and offer diff roles and pkgs. So if colleges start using the info on PG forums it strains relations with the corporates'

Ok..it was last yr info...i spoke to a senior in NM and he said:
In the first batch for focussed MBA in NM, they were placed with good profiles and fat paychecks...better than flagship programme..and the impact it brought: focussed group had less opportunities and packages compared to flagship mba...
P.S. It was his opinion and which he got from his senior. Draw conclusions at your own risk

@jamescarter :Yes ,But the textbooks are provided only in the first year . And moreover the second year subjects are electives, if you want to study there are copies in the library .
