That's the pain buddy. No one will talk about placements on PG forums. This phenomenon is not specific to NM only. It is the practice followed by students across most of the b-schools in India. I tried to explain this thing on this forum itself. You try as many number of times you want you will be directed towards the official placement figures. Their logic (i personally dont subscribe to it) is:- 'In this age of cut throat competition you don't want to dish out placement figures to the competition (read other institutions) on a platter. The same companies visit multiple institutes and offer diff roles and pkgs. So if colleges start using the info on PG forums it strains relations with the corporates'I am not a placecomer but i respect their viewpoint!!"our future depends on the decision that we have to take in 1O days" - Absolutely. But then inquiring only about the placements ain't gonna help ur cause either.
Adding to what @blue4u is saying, guys when we dont reply to placement related queries its in interest of students studying in our college and for in the interest of students who are going to join college. Once you will join any B school let alone NMIMS u will realize how the placement process works.
If we start telling u everything about placements on a public forum we ourselves will be putting our future at stake for someone who we dont even know and may never meet in life.
Its really sad if some of the students are actually replying on those queries via PM or whatever.
You will appreciate this fact when you join B school and if fortunate enough to work in Placement committee of your respective college.

dude if u are so much concerned abt placements of NMIMS so let me give you a reality check
110 students of IIM Indore are still unplaced this season,21 students of FMS are still unplaced so now will you conclude that IIM Indore and FMS are not good enough colleges to join.DMS IIT Delhi inflated their average packages as 11-12 lacs which was later found out by Pagalguy.com to be 8-9 lacs.So according to me whether its IIMs or reputed pvt institutes like SPJain,XLRI,MDI,NMIMS or SIBM Pune u cannot be sure to get reliable info regarding placement figures.Instead i will advice you that a college which contuinously had good reputation and brand image,faculty,infrastructure and industry exposure should be your first criteria.If we consider these parameters NMIMS Mumbai is equivalent to SPJain or SIBM Pune so no need to be cynical or else u will end up joining nowhere.The only reason if u dont want to join NMIMS is if its fees is hurting you too much in that case go for FMS,JBIMS or IITs where u will defintely get a good return of investment unlike MDI,NMIMS or even IIM Indore and IIM Kozhikode
@MBAVichar I understand the situation yaar!! Its harsh imo for those candidates who are expecting calls from other institutes and might withdraw later. But as an institute, facilitating for candidates who would withdraw for some other institute isn't exactly the first thing on priority list for any institute right.Anyways no point in debating on whether its right or wrong. As i said its harsh imo.
I know yaar its harsh.... We cannot expect col to consider student moving out to other colleges as their priority.... only thing that would have eased the situation wud be if they had given us enough time to Pay... they gave only 10 days at least 15 workings days toh banta hai yaar... think about people who cannot pay up without a loan.... its totally unfair on them.
I talked to a second year student of BM, got info on the focused courses (BM & CM ) at NM. If anyone want to know about the current placement scenario there PM me. I wont be divulging details on the forum.
@abhiram11 If you are considering only placements then yes Mumbai CM. But this is a focused course. If you want to do some other specialization then go to NMIMS bangalore.

Its really unfair to d ppl who r joining CM/BM coz dey r as much deserving as someone frm otr branch. Investing 13l+ and dis uncertainty...really is not gud...
No offence to neone..bt being a CM convert i am really not happie if dis is d case wit d insti. NM is a brand name and have alwaes bin my dream to study der....and it has also produced gr8 Managers...bt if d story is true then NM is not doing justice to itself, d students, der families?
