@manas222 @Abhaysood Also, at NMIMS, are students free to specialize in the field they choose, or are there a fixed number of seats? Also, when would be the ideal time to start looking for accomodation and flatmates?

See SIBM B is not a very good college if compared to NMIMS Mumbai it doesnt even features in the top 40 colleges.As far as capital markets are concerned it is true that students sit for other profiles too but i know that Core guys do get an edge in the placement process so ultimately it boils down to your interest of pursuing this course.I think NMIMS Core is a very good option but u cant say the same for BM or CM

Well i completely agree with you. And I am not at all saying SIBM is not as good as NMIMS CM.. I am just saying, it completely boils down to your interests and your aspirations. Plus try to analyse both in terms of faculty, alumni, life at college etc..

You are free to Major in any field you want. You need to opt for requisite number of electives.
As for searching for flats is concerned, a week before the college starts would be fine... but the more you delay, worse deal you ll get.

@thaparian So Mid May is the right time to look I guess.

The increase in fees was a bummer this year, but still very keen on NMIMS if I dont make it to SPJIMR.

well if the classes are starting in Early june, the end of may would be ideal. Because remember you will have to start paying earlier if you book earlier :p

hey anybody, who had der intrvw on 19th feb(morning slot), converted CM or Core?? i was in d 1st panel....remembr some names like samantak, saloni, ojas ..who were wid me......if im nt wrong..so did any of u get a convert????

@SPAW yea you can for now and then you can submit the experience certificate at the later stage when you join the college in june :)

Why arent they alowing RTGS this year.. will have to shell out 2000 more for the DD charges
