Nope.. they will just verify the veracity of the copies that u r going to submit and then return the originals

Yes.. for the DD they will give u a receipt.. and for the documents submitted u will get an acknowledgement..

Ya shouldn't be a problem.. A friend of mine reached arnd 3:30 and was able to complete the process..
