@Abhimanyu123 last year it was arnd 250 something.
For rest of details refer to official website nmims.edu
@Abhaysood any chance for core at 875 merit rank?? any chance at all??
@Abhaysood Then 270 seems diffuicult dude..
They havent mentioned anything about placements or faculties etc. You being in HRM can give a 1st hand experience:)
@vishu1092 is it necessary for conversion certificate..

15th is the last date right guys ??

Also, @Abhaysood , is it fine if i bring 2 DDs ? One of 3 lakhs and the other of 3.3 lakhs ??

I would say your chances are more than 50%. Last year it went to 27x, with 20 more seats in core, I would have been hopeful at your position

@piyush1189 yes they asked for it there, so it is better to take it :)
@vishu1092 abhi tho nahi hai..i can bring it with Migration certificate from College...
@piyush1189 maybe you can try ... then they asked us about the conversion factor luckily it was mentioned on my grade card itself....

The admission letter says transfer certificate and the next doc required is the migration certificate.

I understand that migration certi is provided by the university and we do have time to apply for it. But what is transfer certificate then. I am sorry if I missed the same in any of the previous posts but I have been following the thread.. not sure if anyone has asked about the same.

Transfer certificate will be given by your college. Apply for it. However AFAIK, it is not compulsory. What is compulsory is the migration certificate

Transfer certificate-TC is given by ur college-from whr u have done ur BE/ grad (i went to my col last week, paid Rs100(50 for each TC) and filled an application form n the next day they gave me 2 transfer certificates)
now the 2 TCs r same except for a stamp on 1 of them reading-"For Migration Certificate"
So this copy of the TC has to be submitted to the University office(in my case it is Pune University) and they will then give u ur Migration certificate!!!! this takes some time-2 or 3 weeks coz it's a university after all :P

Hope its clear now 😁 :P
@soumitrabengeri
@lio17

Thanks for such detailed explanation, nd now I am in a fix.. why didnt I ask this a bit early.. I have a train to catch tomorrow and transfer certi is something I could have surely arranged.. :|

anyhow I'll just visit the college and ask for the same if they can provide me one in such urgency.

No need to carry the transfer certificate. You can get it later from your college. I paid my fees today but they did not ask for the transfer certificate at all. They have mentioned the migration certificate as pending. But it can be given anytime till the 29th of june.
