the list will be out on monday....info direct from the NM people who were checking the documents and also who were not able to find IIT Roorkee & NIT Silchar in the list of "Approved Institutions"

Provide an application (mail preferred) with the necessary details. Yes, you can ask someone else to do it on your behalf.
@manas222 one more question.. Will the refund DD be sent by post or we should collect it in person as it takes arnd 30 days to get the refund DD..?

AFAIK, a DD is issued by post. Still, the process might have changed. Some of my classmates had personally collected the refund.
@gvipul443 It should be out today as per schedule. Wait till 5 PM, if it is not out by that time, then Monday.

I went to college personally and filled an application for withdrawal...I am required to send a mail now...?? I have an acknowledgement with me ..pls advice

Lol...they were asking me if NIT naam ka college hota hain kya, but the administrative staff cannot be blamed...even in my PI ..the panelists were not aware of NITs, they confused it with NIIT..:P..that pissed me off
