Hello. Got 4 mails from IIMB with intimation. Then got a mail with interview date. I called their office and they said my SR number was there in the shortlist.
Here's my profile:- 10th-94%, 12th-89.8%, BE-80.5%, Work Exp: 47 months.
CAT : Verbal 90.5, Quant 91.8, overall 93.78.
And I was selected under general merit. Is this for real?
Please, no hate messages from all the 99 percentilers. Just want to know whether anyone else with a similar profile was selected.

I am shocked to see I didn't get the call : OA : 99.97 (both above 99 ) grad : 84, X : 92, XII : 89, 3 months workex. Highly disappointed. Could someone please let me know why I missed? Was really looking forward for this call 😞
no offence to any one,but its highly surprising to see lots of 99.xx %lers are not in,but 95+,96+ are getting call,its really heartening, really IIMB is the way to go.👏BTW mine 97.1 % ,but not in.

OA = 94.93%ile, VA = 96.7,QA=89.9 ..Xth = 87.75%(West Bengal Board) , XIIth = 91.4% (West Bengal Board, 32nd in State), Work Ex= 65 months in IT (32 in IBM + 33 in a product based company Lexmark)..The battle starts now..Kudos to IIMB for giving more weightage to profile than to CAT score...all d best to all...

CAT 2013 has def been a mixture of emotions. After getting consistent >95% in Aimcats and top ten in almost all pagalguy mocks, was devastated to see my 94% CAT 13 score. And just when i was almost done banging my head & cursing the indecipherable "normalisation" process, I received a call letter from IIM B!! 0_O
Never knew my 95% in X and 97% in XII from loonnggg ago wud make such a difference!! \m/

I still didn't understand the referrals part. How to get from 3 different people by entering emails etc. And as I graduated last year and took a drop and therefore do not have work ex, whom should I approach for referrals?
Hi Seniors, Could you please shed some light on the component 'References' of the PGP application form. Some specific questions would be
(i) Who could be a 'good' referee?
(ii) What points should the referee stress on in his/her referral?
(iii) How much would the references impact the final admission into the institute.
Do pitch in with pertinent points, if any.
