I am prasenjit, graduated in chemical engineering. I will be applying to Broad's Full time program in the early round. Can you describe about its Supply chain management class. How good is the school for the ones who want to build the career in the domain of manufacturing. ?

Dear Ashok, How is MSU for future in IT consulting ? In the application I do not find an option apart from Finance SCM HRM and Marketing. For a Technology person is it not the right school?

Also, I was unable to find the placement report on MSU Broad website. Can you help me get an idea of job opportunities available to Broad students.

Thanks for taking up this task and coming forward to help us in making a better decision.


I am planning to apply for MBA Fall 2014 and I have a concern. The school is known for SCM and number of Tier-1 companies recruit from the school (as per the placement statistics). I just want to know that how are the actual placement statistics in the current economic slowdown and how comfortable are the people switching from IT to SCM (like me), in competing with the cohort and how are the placements for them.

Hi Ashok,

How is Broad College for Marketing Major. All i read is about Supply chain. Is there a specific number of entries that will be admitted for each concentration. Also, is the college able to place Marketing graduates.
