2014 GMAT Prep and Strategies

Hi Neha I am B.E (Mechanical) from NIT with 6 yrs of experience in Supply Chain Management especially for FMCG products from China, Korea, Singapore.
I am planning to give my GMAT in Feb' 2014 and will be starting my preparation. I am basically targeting one year MBA from ISB and Europe.
My main problem likes with the verbal.
So can you suggest me how to start my prepation.

I am planning to give my GMAT in 22,Nov' 2014 and will be starting my preparation. I am basically targeting FPM A from ISB. My main problem likes with the verbal.So can you suggest me how to start my prepation.

Studying hard would not mean much if you don't know the art of studying smart. Do you agree?

Can you please help me with an evaluation of my profile? Class 10th: 83.8% Class 12th: 83% B.E.(Electronics) - Nagpur University - 69.6% MBA- IIT Madras - 2007-2009 - 8.01 CGPA Joined Tata Docomo as Management Trainee. Started my own venture which was moderately successful. We sold our products in more than 100 countries worldwide. My portal was one of the top 10000 in the world and amongst the top 5-6 education portals in India. Raised funding of $125,000. Led a team of 40 people. Due to problems in the founding team, we could not raise the next level of funding and hence shut shop. Led this venture for 3 years. Now, working in strategy for a top digital ad network. Total work-ex: 4.5 years+ (plan to go in 2015, there fore exp will be more than 6 years). I just gave my first mock GMAT without any prep and scored a 670. I can study and crack about 750. Please do help me with my evaluation. I want to target top 5 B-Schools in US.

Hi,

I got 680 GMAT score, 3.5 in Analytical Writing and 6 in IR. I don't think there is much point in applying to ISB or other B-schools, since my resume is also not much impressive. 😟
Any ideas how to improve the AW section for my 2nd GMAT ?
Also, could someone pin point, what exactly should I do to improve my resume.
