I have the following profile : B.E. (Comp Sci) - 7.46 CGPA 12th : 77% 10th : 74.6 %
I have 6 yrs of experience in various profiles starting from SE to Business Analyst and have been in the role of Project Manager for the last 1.5 yrs. I am looking to enhance my credentials as am feeling that I am hitting a glass cieling now in terms of career growth(interested in BDM/Business Analytics profile). Can you suggest me how should I prepare and which colleges to target with my profile the way it is currently. Would going to any GMAT prep classes help or can you give me pointers to some good online resources esp practice papers which would give me a launch pad.. Thanks, Anshul. agrawal.anshul2005@gmail.com
I have a total of 26 months of experience (20 months in Infosys as an educator and 6 months as a teacher in a low income school). I will sit for GMAT next year (by the time the session starts in April, 2015, i'll have 3.5 years of experience). Due to financial constraints, I am looking at places in India like ISB and Great Lakes (and anything else you could suggest for someone with my modest background).
My academic record- 89.2, 79.2 and 81.7 percent in 10th, 12th and graduation respectively. In co-curricular activitie-, I have 12 years of training in Bharatanatyam and Kathak. I am an avid reader and have read over 800 titles- fiction and non-fiction- (not a co-curricular activity per se but looking back it seems like an intelligent investment of my time). I also write and have won awards in college. As for community engagement- my current job is all about that. Do you think this is a good enough profile for a place like ISB?
I am not sure about which stream of MBA will interest me the most- considering my limited exposure to the corporate world and to the sphere of MBA. Can you guide me by telling me which parameters/variables I should be looking at while making this decision?
The most important question- how should I go about the GMAT preparation? You said, "Though I had a lot of online material with me, it was important to know which ones to use and which ones to not use. The application process is equally important and one needs to be very careful about how the profile is presented."
Can you help in with that as well?
I have addressed to you 3 broad questions. Please reply when you have the time. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I will prep well for my GMAT, how much score should I target? Pls send any useful material to .com Thank you loads!
Also, is it ok if I mention the AdCom about my Engg %age, I was never interested in Engg but went along, but once I joined I love working in this sector and want to target Technology Consulting or Marketing, is it ok to be honest that I did not like Engg but like herd mentality joined it?
