The major courses offered at Oriental Institute of Management are:
1. MMS (Masters in Management Studies) or MBA is a full time two Years Course affiliated to University of Mumbai, Approved by AICTE & DTE
2. MMM (Masters in Marketing Management) Three year part time Degree in Marketing Management affiliated to University of Mumbai.
3. MFM(Masters in Financial Management) Three Year part Time Degree in Financial Management, affiliated to university of Mumbai.
4. PGCM (Post Graduate Certification in Management) One Year course in Management approved by AICTE.
Oriental Institute of Management is a University of Mumbai affiliated PhD research centre. The Centre, situated at OIM's Vashi Campus, can register any Indian or foreign student - eligible as per UGC guideline - for the PhD program of the Mumbai University. The Research Centre has also empanelled distinguished Researchers and Professionals as guides in various streams such as Marketing, Finance, Operations and HR, under whose stewardship; the student will complete the requisite courseware and submit the dissertation. The Research Centre at OIM also proposes to design and institutionalize higher doctoral programs for eminent professionals with proven track records and take up industry sponsored programs with mechanism to facilitate high quality applied research/consulting.
The OIM Research Centre also conducts national and international seminars, where members of the academia and industry from India and abroad participate and exchange ideas. The centre also publishes Bi-annual research Journal titled "Parivartan" that carries high quality articles and research papers from a wide spectrum of contributors.
