a bit late. But i had panel 4. Topic: make in india. Entire interview on current affairs. Gender diversity in iim k. Oil prices fall. Effect on upstream and downstream companies. Effect on Russian economy.

I start again with my framed why MBA answer hoping they would ask some thing from that. Nope, no luck there.

I started blurting stuff. Again interrupted by P1 who suggested that I could use 10 seconds to think and smirked at P2 saying,''not that it would help''.
>By this time I was like I've had it up to here with these senile guys, after I got the go, I spoke about how big of a star he is in south, why his movies have that concept of making hero a super human,omnipotent guy, audience identifying themselves with the hero in theaters,talked about north people making fun of his movies, talked about incoherence between movies in Bollywood and south; and his personal qualities like being simple, generous, talked about him, adopting a old person as his dad, wearing flip flops at home and some more general stuff stopped just a couple of seconds before the time ran out.

Me: Sir, he has a couple of daughters, but doesn't have a son and his daughter soundarya Rajanikanth is more into directing.
P2 nodded and reiterated the same to P1.
Lady prof is just silent and noticing stuff from this point on.
P2: What's your cat percentile.
Me: I would like to join FMS though, I spilled.
P2: So you are assuming you got into FMS even before we gave out the results and smiled.
Me: I chuckled as well.
P2: So, why do you want to join FMS even though you would obviously get into C?
Me: Talked about FMS being at par with all A,B,C. Told a broader outlook after MBA might change my goals and in FMS I wouldn't have a loan hanging on my head. I ll be free to pursue my goals.
P2: how much do you think it would incur in the process of MBA at FMS
Lady: financially???
Me: 30K for fee, staying outside and food that would be 2.5L to 3L.
P2: Ok then what about C?
Me: approx. 18L. which incudes everything but mess. may be it ll be close to 20L in all.
P2: okay. You may leave.
me : thanks for having me here! it was nice talking to you all.

I wonder why do they conduct interview. They asked me about my hobbies. I told lawn tennis. They said do you have any courts near you. I said i have one in Infosys and one in my society. Then one of them said to others tumhe kya laga sbkuch america mei hi hai.. Aisa lga mera kam ek dusre ko jada test kr rhe hain. :mg:

My interview:
Nothing much to say ... I entered inside the room . They were least interested to take my interview. Maybe because of my bad scorecard. My score in the english section wasnt upto the mark . That might have been a reason for my extempore speech. Out of the box, first topic : Sailing Smooth . 2nd topic: Rising Sun . Started speaking .(Bla Bla) Not much though. Conversation started. During the talks, I went with the flow and told something interesting about sailing smooth. NO PI . WTF.. Had conversation for 6 minutes .
Tried screwing me but I didnt lose calm.
If the scorecard matters why do they even call and they are so judgemental . They must have thought me to be a badass who was in his best outfit trying to look smart :P Didnt wear any suit 😛
Anyways bahut paisey dubey to come to Delhi . I had missed Rajdhani and then booked flight !!! In overall : total waste .
Now guys please dont say that it is a lifetime experience which is not.

M3 - Tell me about you extracurricular activities.
Me - Started telling about volunteering in college fests and NSS. told that taught english and maths to underprivileged children.
M1 thought that I am lying so gave me topic "My experiments with lies"
Me - Told that everyone lies. Sometimes it is unavoidable. But it is morally wrong. gives positive effects in short term but always does more damage in long term. gave example that if in this interview i lie abou myself and impress you I might get admission but i might not be able to perform well in mba if i am not a good fit.
M3 - tell me about how guru drona was killed in Mahabharat.
Me - told about yudhishtir and Na naro Na Kunjava
M1 - so yudhishtir didn't lie then why is it morally wrong
Me- he didn't lie but hid the truth. hiding the truth is as bad as lying.
M2 - why does tractor have big rear wheels.
Me- told some random shit about shear force and moment if you consider whole tractor with trolley as a beam. most probably it was wrong. no cross questions on that.
M4 - least count error of screw gauge and vernier
Me - screw gauge - 0.01mm and no idea about vernier calliper.
that is all.
What say puys any chances?

I : well sir as from my first example, d luv dat we get from our parents is definitely unconditional; we get frnds with whom even we fight, they tend to support us in tough times; may b in compettitive world d space fr developing such a rapport has become constricted..
M1 : bt even parents luv us like that only when we r young, then they giv so much pressure like get into FMS, marry a grl of our choice..
I : sir from my personal experience, I am fortunate enough to still have that parental luv fr me.. bt yes they do hav aspirations fr us only bcoz they luv us and want us to get better things (wanted to say more bt was interrupted).

I wanted to get opinions from all. With calls from K, S, Indore Mumbai Campus, new IIMS, SPJIMR and FMS what would you guys do? Which colleges IF converted would you go for? I feel only K and FMS worth it (SPJIMR waitlist 55 not gonna make it).

Last day of the interviews, puys. All the best for your interviews. Does anyone know for sure when the results for FMS will be announced? I heard that they normally announce within a day or two of conclusion of the interviews.
