How many total seats are there for general category?
Hey guys! Hope you're all amazing. I know it's been long.
IIFT starts with its second round of the admission processes tomorrow. For most of you, this may be the first process of the season. No advice from my side, I've found that advice (or tips as they call it) only tends to confuse people further, and make them more nervous. Be good, be confident and you'll be okay.
This isn't the end of the world, if you don't perform as per expectations tomorrow. Have a good night's sleep, okay? Do not fret. Just make sure you have packed everything you're going to carry tomorrow tonight itself (and I mean even the people who have the afternoon slot are going all meh, I'll do it tomorrow morning). Iron your shirts and suits, polish your shoes, check your ties for any stains. Invest in a comb.

Hi Seniors...i need your help!!
My IIFT interview dates are clashing with IIM-K on 12th feb. Even the timings are same. I contacted IIM-K and they were outright in saying that they wont change the dates and contact the other institute. I contacted IIFT yesterday with mails and calls but no response yet as such...what should I do? Will IIFT reschedule my GD/PI as both the processes are important in my life and career...

So the long-awaited second round's over (well, at least for IIFT). It must have been a pain waiting for it, huh? We were so glad to host each of you. You guys have all been wonderful performers. Do take a bow. How was the whole experience, besides the actual process? Was everything smooth? Have we been helpful? Tell us all that you think.
As for what you do now, is relax and focus on other shortlists that you may have. The tentative dates for results is the third week of March. Again, remember, TENTATIVE. Meanwhile, you can read more about IIFT, its legacy and follow all its major campus events to know more about them.

CVs seem to be super important in B-school. Seems that they are quite extensive and the shortlist from companies rely on them. Is this the reality or it is a hype? How competitive is the seen inside? Will it be really useful if I use my time now to work on it?
