So, the adcom of IIM-S is planning to release the results earliest by 30th April. However, if they can't due to technical load on their third party IT partner, they said we can expect the results by second week of May or earlier. Thought I'd convey it to you guys. All the best! :)
Anyone from the commerce background having their interview in recent days ?
What is the acceptance fee if one gets through the final selection ?
What do you guys think? Will Shillong reach the current status of Kozhikode and Indore in coming 2-3 years considering the average package that has almost reached 17 lpa, the nearing completion of a permanent campus and the fact that the IIM tag helps attract students with great profiles due to the long term benefits in terms of reputation that it gives. I am facing a possible dilemma b/w going to IIFT, MDI, IIT-B, Shillong.
Also, does any body here really believe Ranchi is better. Because I believe no matter what, Shillong is couple of years older and was established as an independent IIM. Moreover, it is also not under any other IIM's mentorship and is uniquely establishing its position.
Please also comment on the quality of faculty at Shillong if possible.
Btw, I am considering from perspectives of quality of education, peer group and long-term reputation only. I am NOT attributing much importance to placements and financial ROI. I probably won't be sitting for placements and would look to come back home to engage in family business. Thus, my main reason for MBA is the learning experience and the associated future repute to boost my educational credentials.
Aspirants, current students, alumni, please respond. Thanks in advance.
Is IIM Shillong considering the EWS quota?
Is there NC OBC reservation in IIM Shillong?
Did TAS and HUL ever recruit from Shillong? If yes then why have they stopped doing so. Also, do the recruiters show any bias by offering lesser roles with less packages as compared to the BLACKI in the same organisation?
TISS HRM LR v IIM Shillong. I want to work in a promising MNC and am quite flexible between HR and Strategy, i.e. would take strategy in Shillong or HRM in TISS.
Which institute would u guys recommend from my standpoint.?
P.S. Have converted TISS already
