I got a mail saying i m provisionally selected for iim ranchi....does it mean that its a covert? And is subject to just payment of the 1 lakh? Or could i be in waitlist.?

Guys with workex who are waitlisted in the new iims please suggest. I haven't put my resignation yet and am worried as academic sessions in most of the colleges start around last week of June.

I have a 2 months of notice period and I already planned to negotiate with HR for 1 month but if waitlist movement is slow i will be doomed.


PS: Waitlisted in Trichy and Udaipur (GEM)

  • If Udaipur WL is less than 1000. Put your papers and chill.
  • Can’t say! kuch bhi ho sakta hai. Don’t put your papers until you get a confirmed seat.
  • I am also in same dilemma, CAP result timings are unrealistic for working guys.
