This thread is to post score, percentile, doubts, queries, and discuss mock taking strategies for IMS SIMCAT 15 [2020].

OA - 134 - Nice upswing in marks, a couple of weeks before cat.  

VARC - 37 (21A/14C) 

DILR - 47 (18A/16C) - Glad I could score this much. Questions appeared to be deceptive and I wasnt quite sure while marking some answers. 

QA - 50 (20A/17C) Was way too slow but accuracy saved me big time.

OA: 128 Varc: 44 (23A, 16C)(The paper was well structured and consistent, unlike their previous few mocks) DILR: 33 (11A, 11C) QA: 51 (18A, 17C)

Varc 46 (17C/9W) poor accuracy in easy section

Dilr 51 (17C) last seven minutes... just 1 question!

VERY BAD Performance || Utterly Dissapointed || The morning Slot really taking a toll.(BUT i need to work HARD !!! and It is not an Excuse)

VARC-53 DILR-21 QA-32 OA-106 I felt the difficulty level was closest to CAT.

VARC - (20A/ 13C) - 36 (The RC passages were too easy, kind of sad that could not maximise the score, pehaps lost a lot of time in PJ ones)

DILR- (12A/12C) - 36 (Kind of a surprise, because i was sure that at least one of the parking lot set will be wrong, also was kind of apprehensive about the hotel rooms set too, happy though)

QA - (20A/18C ) - 52 (Just hoped for a 100% accuracy, though imo easiest Quant this season given by IMS)


OA - 124 (81.13% accuracy)


A sudden shoot up after the disastrous lower 100 or higher 90 marks of the last few new pattern SIMCATs.

DILR (10A/10C)- 30 : Found it tough.


QA (11A/11C)- 33 : With only 4 weeks left still cannot touch the 40s.


OA (43A/38C)- 111 : Finally a good score after consistent bad performances.
