I am having 22 months of work-ex currently in a R&D; firm (IT) .. I am already drawing ~6.5 LPA. Please suggest me best colleges to target for MBA considering ROI and profile.Also, Do I have a chance to crack SP Jain ?
@Shivianithakur .... the best of the two scores will be taken ...in case you havent given the september CMAT your feb CMAT score will only be considered.

1. Colleges you should target:
-GLIM (PGPX)- 1 year program, Placements are awesome for people with experience in I.T -BIM-Trichy- Excellent for I.T and operations. -TAPMI -IMI -K.J Somaiya -IIT's -GIM
2. You can definitely have a crack at S.P Jain . Even if you are not selected on the basis of profile you can definitely get in by scoring above 97%ile in CAT.
@rstheboss No one can answer that question unless your CAT perormance expectation is known atleast. Also you haven't mentioned your grad university and board. In that case it becomes difficult to assess your profile.
And regarding SP Jain I must say their selection criteria is highly unpredictable. I will try to be honest in my opinion. With no extra curricular it becomes difficult to get a call from SPJIMR ; even at 98 or 99 plus. However , if you are able to project your work-ex in extra ordinary way, you stand a chance. Your board marks may also give you some edge provided it is from a board where scores are usually less. But there are many equally good college which offer you good profile. So there is nothing to worry
The question can be answered better if your preparation level and CAT score expectation is known
@anshuman312 Actually mine is TN board, its def high scoring board and I am getting 70-80 %iles in Aimcats . Regarding SPJain, Yeah I heard they give a lot of weightage in extra curriculars and that's the reason I asked.

1.You should aim for the top 25 colleges. Some colleges that you can apply to are: -IIT's -IMI -XIMB -GLIM -K.J Somaiya -MICA -IMT, ghaziabad
and guys one more question. If someone has experience as Business analyst ( for IT ) then what is the branch of MBA one can aim for
The specialization you take up depends on your interest. If you want to continue in the I.T field then you can take up I.T & operations as a specialization.
i hv got a baklog in engg in 4th sem and my semester % is 56....christ's college eligibility is 50% in evry semester .....so will the baklog proove a hindrance in admission???

You can apply for IMT , IMI , KJSOM , TAPMI , NITIE (ITM and ISEM at 95-96 and IM if above 97.5) . And you can also apply for IIT once the results are out.
@Pratap29 hey I just realised that there may be other VIT too. Got over excited on seeing fellow VITian. I was talking about VIT Vellore. If you are not the one then ignore first half of the post.
Should I apply for NIBM,PUNE.And if Yes,through CAT or ATMA?How is the college?Placement?
Not a bad OPTION, would suggest you to focus on other colleges too under CAT...way higher in rankings and packages... If you want to go with ATMA Score only then try Welingkar...

P.S. For others- 1) IMI & MDI Dates are over.
2) MICA can accept your score through CAT/XAT/GMAT but after that you have to give a separate test called MICAT.
