Cut-off for WELINGKAR was around 85(Profile Based) No specific cut-off for different branches.

No one can predict the %ile for sure. And it won't change anyways now.
It's time to move on now and focus on other Exams if you have registered for them. If not, then start preparing for your GD/PI.

And My Questions are
* Is Mid-Jan too late to start? Coz I thought of applying after the Results..
*Please suggest some colleges which I can apply to which will lie in my percentile region.. Preferably down south.. Other Regions are okay if I dont have any good Options here..
* My last resorts would be VIT-BS,Chennai and SRM B school Chennai if I dont get any good college.. Any Idea how these two colleges are?

1. You can expect a %ile of 82-90 as per last year's trends.
2. Mid-Jan won't be late, but you will have lesser pool of colleges.
3. Right now, apply to -->
FORE
LBS
NIRMA
4. AFter Results, you can apply to -->
TAPMI
BIM-T
NIT-T
NIT-K
XIME
LIBA etc as per your CAT %ile.
5. VIT, SRM --> Join these colleges only if doing MBA is a compulsion. Else, not recommended.. !!

@AJSAM92 I have the same doubt about when to start applying.. There are so many colleges ( generally the top ones) whose deadline to apply is before the cat results.. eg for FMS its last week of dec..and there are many others too... Hope to get my doubts cleared when i give it again next yr as am not going to take mba this year!! may be some1 who has gone through this phase will tell u better.. But yess there are many colleges in tier 2 and 3 which starts application process after d results so really depends on the college u want!!
And i don't have any experience in this at all but with raw score of 90 u wud be anywhere from 80 to 85 or if normalization helps u, u mite just reach 90!!

i have a question.. Does cat leak info we gave to it during exam registration... My roommate registered with me for cat,, and yesterday i got a call trying to convince me to give ibsat just after my roommate got the same call!! And i cant think of any other place they wud have got our numbers.. and yes the lady on d fone knew v r giving cat!! She said she got d number from her boss!!

No cat doesn't do that as far as i know...someone else has done that and this happens a lot so get used to it...i myself have been receiving a number of calls from blah blah blah people :P

Well thats just an assumption...you can even get 99+ or 97 too depending on the normalization done 😃 so don't be disheartened you have got a great score so start preparing for the GD/PI:)
