I know abt TISS and XLRI...But m asking in particular about CAT colleges which offer HR...I know MDI is great but have got a mixed review about IMT...Some ppl say its really good cause placements are relatively easy while others says its a marketing college...M in a fix????

@dominictoretto1 With reference to mapping or attempting to narrow down a score basis attempts would be a tough job to do as various factors come into affect during normalization. Hence, it would be in best interest of all the aspirants to give their best shot at the exam and then move on. Of course, we can help you out in calming your nerves in terms of score projections and we do try to be as close as it could be, still, Prometric can always throw surprises. So, just look ahead puys, there are other great exams which are there to be cracked. All the best :)
hii I appeared for CAT on 31th oct, afternoon slot Sec 19 attempts (80% accuracy) Sec 2- 22 attempts (80 -85% accuracy) what score can i expect??My acads are:Cls 10- 82%Cls 12 (science)- 88%graduation(Btech)- 83% what percentile can i expect Which colgs can I apply to??

@sauravd2001 .... PGDM is a diploma course issued by an institute which is not affilicate of any university while MBA is a degree course. MBA degree is generally given by affiliate institutes or deemed insitutes. But in terms of quality and recognition both are same.

IIMs offer PGDM and PGP certificates so on that front it should not be a problem. FORE is a good college and you can definitely apply. But check the ROI before applying.

@avinashkrjha ...gave my CAT on 2nd november,morning slot. QA- the section esp DI was very tough..19-20 attempts with 75% accuracy and VA-moderate section..23 attempts with 80-85% accuracy! 10th-89.12%, 12th-89.5%, B.E - 84.1%...what could be the estimated percentile and which colleges can i apply to??

Hi , gave cat today 5th nov morning slot. My attempts sec-1 22 (19 should be correct atleast) , sec 2 - 27 (hoping for 21-22 correct) . Don't know what normalization is gonna make of this

@udayveer27 See, its a matter of perception and your personal ambitions. With three years of experience candidates do join these institutes but yes of course if you wish to have a comparable study of these colleges with Tier 1, then there would be some discrepancies. So, please introspect, these are good colleges in their own merit and you should definitely consider them. If you are having any specific doubt you may PM any of us for further clarification.
