The placement process is common as far as I know.Cut Off %ile for IB at FORE is around 80%ile.
But still the college (FORE) has to provide some details regarding placements.

Saying 8 per yr is the avg package makes no sense when you have 2 different forms for 2 different MBA Courses. Average package and placement details for the 2 separate courses need to be provided separately.

I know you are not from FORE but i do hope someone from FORE takes note of that.
I gave my CAT on 3rd November in 3:15 slot.
My academics are:
10th : 84.17
12th: 77.6
B.E. : 52.34

Experience in IT(ERP) of 24 months.

My attempt is :

QA/DI: 17(1 wrong)
VA/LR: 27(more than 85-90 percent accuracy i feel)

Could you guide me on which colleges to apply.
I am in a dilemma, I have already applied for MDI and IMI, Delhi. I am also appearing for XAT, SNAP and NMIMS.

I would like to join in this academic session if I get a good college. I would like to have a specialization in finance, also have interest in operations, logistics.

I want overall holistic experience with great exposure with competent peers.

Thanks in advance,
Kushal Agarwal
@kushalagg : You can definitely expect a %ile of above 95.

You can apply to :
NITIE (operations)
SP Jain
MFC (Finance)
GIM
XIMB

Others you can apply after CAT results.

@sauravd2001 .... PGDM is a diploma course issued by an institute which is not affilicate of any university while MBA is a degree course. MBA degree is generally given by affiliate institutes or deemed insitutes. But in terms of quality and recognition both are same.ATB!!!
Hello,
Just adding on to what sir has said, MBA is a master's degree and is beneficial for some specific goverment level jobs. Where companies clearly mention that studemts having MBA or a PGDM from IIM'S are only eligible.

Also if you want to pursue further studies like getting a PHD, a masters degree is a must.

PGDM of some top colleges of India is equivalent to MBA as per AICTE approval...so even after doing PGDM u can do PhD. Dis is not d case with PGDM offered by every institute in India.. for TAPMI i can definitely say dat its PGDM is equivalent to MBA & one will have no problem in pursuing PhD.....
