Hi seniors i joined PG today.Must say this is a great site.
for all the mods and admins.
I gave CAT on 2nd November evening slot. qa/di was difficult and va/lr was easy.
I have attempted 40Qs(15+25). I am sure about 12 questions in qa and 2 LR sets. So in all 20 out of the 40 questions i attempted, are surely correct. Don't know about the rest. Got 80-92 percentile in the last few AIMCATS. I am currently doing B.tech from IP University New Delhi.
I have decent acads:
Xth-84%
XII-87%
B.tech (CSE)- 76.5% (till 6th sem)
Average co-curricular
What percentile can i expect and which colleges should i apply to ?
How good is UBS in terms of placements and profile offerred?
Also can someone please tell about the admission procedure and probable cutoff??

As far as I know,
Avg package is around 6.5 lacs
Cut off's are around 85%ile in CAT
CAT Score is given a weightage of 85% for final convert.. !!

You can expect anything beyond 85%ile based on your accuracy.. !!

A lot depends on your expectation level from the college and your compulsion to do MBA or for changing your job profile.
Be informed that it is difficult to change your profile (from IT to Sales, IT to Fin, Engg to HR, etc) in most of the B-Schools including the top one's. Having said that, MBA is the only way to change your profile. So you may have to put in more efforts as compared to few others who already have been working in the same profile or may be have studied the relevant subjects (Read BBA, BMS, Eco Hons, etc).
This is not to discourage you but inform you of the situation well in advance.
So, after looking at everything (Placements, Faculty, Alumni Base, Curriculum, Infra, etc), take a call. All the Best.. :)

FMS-BHU is Faculty of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University at Varanasi

@asifpasha IIMA and IIML offers MBA in Agribusiness Management. Apart from them, some other good colleges which gives degree similar to that are IRMA(Rural Management), IIFM(Forest management) and NITIE (Environmental management).
