yes there is a sectional cut off but clearing it is not a big issue if you clear the overall cutoff..
it was 60 and 65 for QA and VA respectively in sectionals
with overall 90 previous year and this can change this year

it entirely depends on you and your eagerness to do MBA this year.
But I'll suggest to fill the forms of all the top notch B Schools where u are willing to join if given a chance and then you can always narrow down after CAT scores.
80-90 is a decent score in AIMCAT mocks but try a bit harder in the last lap which has just started and then you can really do wonders.
Its better to fill the forms than to repent.

He decides that he has a good voice and he will entertain
and try to earn the lively hood from whatever he gain
Like us he also dreams of a Bungalow and a car
but comparably his dreams are just too far
This was an end of an engineer/doctor in the making
With the name of âeducationâ aren't we really faking???
I think we are still not independent still not free

1. Going by what you said, you wish to change your job profile.
2. Joining a B-School is probably the solution for that, but be ready to face the rigor.
3. You can aim for all the Top B-Schools. Later on based on your options and interests, you can decide which B-School to join.
4. Right now focus on maximising your CAT Score and apply to as many good B-Schools as you can.
5. Few of the B-Schools which might have it's window open very soon are MDI, SPJAIN, NITIE, IMI, IMT, SIBM-P, XLRI, XIMB, etc.
6. For rest, you can decide later on.
