Doing a management in a specific sector is not judicious because slowdown or recession can throw you out of job. Also doing telecom management is not going to give you any additional points, you have to slog it out with other general management students. So if you want to work only in the telecom sector then you can go for it.
sir right now i am puzzled a bit ..but one thing i am sure of i dont want to make my career inIT sector jst ..i want to own a firm of my own(but belonging to middle class no money for that so before stepping into that world i want to know every bit of that)
one thing more sir earning money is not my priority .I want to earn money so that i cud do smthing for the averages like me n poor ..making schools ..or if nthing happens then i wud be happy with an ngo also..i have a vision n i want it to become a reality for sure

@singh15 You should look at industry oriented programs. HR & communication could be some options in functional areas. Retail & Banking could be industry specialisations, which has great scope going forward. If you like data analysis, programs in Analytics could be a great option for you, since you are an engineer
First of all, I would like to wish you good luck for your upcoming exams and results.Considering your above post, it will be injustice to suggest any career path or specialization. Your utmost priority should to score well and convert GD/PI call of good B-school which will provide you platform to achieve your dreams.
In next two years, you will get ample time and resources to learn from your faculties, peers and external environment which will definitely help you to shape and achieve your dreams.
Also,You can use your demographics (OBC+FEMALE) in good government universities like DU and others.
Oxford Brookes University is one of the best ranked modern UK universities so it does seem like a credible programme. I also read somewhere that both IIMT, Gurgaon and OBU have been ranked very highly by UK €™s quality check body called QAA. However, each one should check the facts themselves and make sure that it fits eirth need.

I would ask for another favour from you two which will is highly important for the aspirants ....
Can you please list down TOP 50-100 B-schools along with their total fees for 2 years (Excluding Hostel & Food) but try to include all hidden charges .....
We can obviously check respective college website but a collated list would be really helpful for most of the aspirants......
I would not name the college but in its website total course fees was Rs 6,00,000 in Oct'12 and I applied since my budget is around 7-8 lacs..... But last week they changed it to Rs 6,00,000 per annum....... So my application money went in vain..... Request your assistance.......

I am sure they can help but not sure if they have the time to do it ... most of the times people visit college websites for colleges they want to apply for which is generally 10-15 at max ..
And let us not diverge their focus on this list since they can use the same time in answering queries ..
May be you can start off and ask others to join .. Its something aspirants can easily do if they collaborate well
