Initially I thought I do not want to write XAT as I am not looking for XL (I am not into HR) and XIMB(not into bhubhaneswar 😉 ) (I am kind of too specific about things I do not want, bt not abt wat I want 😲 😞 ) and GIM is not in my books. But now, that I have quit my job (multiple reasons for resigning), and I am sort of tensed abt the CAT results, i am feeling like to apply for XAT. The institute in my list which takes XAT is only TAPMI, which also takes CAT score, so is it worth to write XAT only for the sake of TAPMI and I am tensed abt CAT. On the other hand I will be giving CMAT in Feb (for GIM, I think this would be fine) and SNAP in Dec.

There are many institutes which accept XAT score like XIMB, GIM, TAPMI, SPJIMR, Great Lakes, LIBA, Praxis, XIME and many others. So you may want to look into them.
@chaitanyanift 10 correct in each section, but how many attempted?If its with 100% accuracy, then with 10Q in each section, probably around 60-65 %tile. With 15Q in each section, around 85-90, and with 20Q in each, 99+!!

@Aaran ya bt u score exceptionally well in CAT n a brilliant performance in GD/PI then there is a chance tht u might gt a gud college........never loose hope

IILM G has a high fees hence poor ROI and other also are not worth applying so you try giving other exams like XAT, CMAT FEB for more better options or even try CAT 13 next year :)

Yes I know of XL's other offerings yet. HR is the flagship for it, hence I mentioned it. Anyways reasons for SPJIMR, XIMB, GIM and TAPMI , I have mentioned the points in my post. 😞 😃 (mixed things) . Great Lakes I heard only exec program is good (lets not go with only brand name 😃 ). LIBA- Nope, Praxis- never heard, XIME- Nope. No Offence for these institutes. And placements are the prime factor for me, secondly I wish to push as much as possible towards "foreign" placements. Else I would have applied for TISS. I am not here to throw away laks of rupees and say "I am here to learn, contribute to society, uplift community blah blah, nope not at all". Yes, when I create wealth for me I wish to create wealth for society too. I think I had posted previously saying money is being my main motive (no Hippocratic stance). And I will be going with this attitude to my PIs, I do not mind getting rejected by ten institutes if the interviewer has problem with this. So for a guy with this attitude I need some solid suggestions based you guys experience.
hai....my CAT was on Nov. 3 morning slot(really tough slot...friends also felt the same)..my attempts were 1st sec. 13(11 certainly correct) 2nd sec.21(19 ok). can anyone project my percentile....and is it worth to apply to IMT,Welinkar,FMS,Mudra and LIBA....pls help me with your suggestions..
