@addaa Yes, they used to accept only engineering graduates and that too through a separate test JMET till last year. From last year JMET has been discontinued and IIT's are accepting CAT scores. IIT Madras has already come out with a communication this year that they'll be looking to admit students from other graduation streams also. Maybe other IIT's will also follow. Keep checking PG or the institute website to get updates.

Hey , I am in final year Engineering and got placed in JP morgan through campus placements .
I also gave CAT this year , and am expecting not so great percentile .
Is it worth that I leave my current job and opt for mba in institutes other than JBims SPjain and IIMs ??

@CrazyRicardo a yr later u will have job exp also an yr to prepare again to better ur %ile.

People I know its kind of a stupid question to ask..but herre it goes
I have a prospect trip to Phillipinesin Jan 16th to 22nd.
Shall I go ahead or will I be required here in India to complete fomalities or processes if i get calls considering CAT reults are out on 9th
@kushalagg I don't think any institute, including IIMs, will have GD PI process starting so soon after results are announced. Maybe for some institutes you'll have to update the CAT score or something like that, which you can do from there also. So go ahead with the planned trip. :)

A two years plus work experience will also add value to your profile. I can assure you that MBA from IIM's will definitely take you to apogee.

Last date for CAT/GMAT applicants is 31 Jan,13 and cut-off for ICFAI H will be around 85 and for Mumbai campus 75+.
