@abhimukh19 @avinashkrjha Seniors please throw some light on MGB program offered by SP Jain its applications are open for may 2013 intake .I want to take SPJAT on 20 Jan but dont have any information about the exam pattern and required percentile in SPJAT to convert .
Any information regarding SPJAT pattern and call to convertibilty chance for an engineer(fresher) with average profile would be very helpful

My opinion is very subjective and based on Information i have .. based on someone i know who passed out this year...
The course is good,Batch quality is good .. but placements have been terrible to the say the least ..
But for that matter placements are not going great in most b-schools this year ..

Anyways my point is this site is to help aspirants....So, why not help them in comparing? I am new to this field so naturally want to compare about which b-school to choose finally!!!
@abhimukh19 Sir that was helpful ..right now i am not thinking about placements even if some companies there are offering more than 7 l.p.a i will go for it .

@moup Comparison is not allowed simply because the students from all the colleges will try justify that their college is the best one and the comments will be highly irrational..so u will be getting more confused ..if you want you can get yr queries cleared in respective threads and then can compare yrself..

@Anuj07 The flagship course is decent among the b-schools only in Noida only. It takes CAT score for shortlisting.

we had such discussions in the past which turned pretty nasty.
we keep rules so that this place continues to remain sane.
Hence the rule that no Bschool comparisons are allowed.
you can ask for information on any school and decide for yourself which one suits you best.
@moup : if you want to compare b-schools then PM them and ask about b-schools but dont post any query whether A is better than B and not good as C..moderators might ban you
Puys could you please highlight a few things about SRCC, GBO with regrads placement figures, course etc. Since SRCC is a well known name, I want to apply to it.
Puys I want to what is the expected cut off for IIT KGP, Madras this year. Are the converts in IIts based purely on scores, or we need to have a good profile. Do they stress on technical knowledge acquired during work exp and enginering. I came to know that IIT Kgp average placement was 12 lacs, nearly equal to delhi and Mumbai, Is it true.
My profile:
CAT: 95-97 expected
Xth: 88
XII: 81
BE: 73
Work exp: Around 30 months till Feb
Extra curricular : Very rare ( Almost no certis)
What are my chances of getting into IIts and which all collges should i definitely target according to the above said profile.

last year, IIT Kgp gave profile based calls,
however IIT madras's cut off was around 94%tile.
Regarding to the placement queries, you may ask in respective threads of mentioned colleges :)
