@rashant : as far as cat 12 difficulty level is concerned, to get OA 90%ile, if your slot is considered:
1.easy (85-90)/180
2.moderate 75/180
3.difficult (60-65)/180
P.S: actually nothing can be told about normalisation,its totally a subjective issue.....i just gave my take

2. An Applicant should not worry about his academic record (thats ok !).

I never meant that you should not at all be considered about placement record.. .what I meant is that one should not make it as the sole criteria to decide.
Important Update about Admission Process:
Praxis offers 2 programs:
1. Post Graduate Program in Business Management - 2 year Full-Time residential program
2. Post Graduate Program in Business Analytics - 1 year Full-Time non-residential with Knowledge partners PwC and ICICI Bank
You may apply to any one or both programs with a common application form. the process of selection would be similar for both programs. Both courses would commence by June 2013.

Cut off was Not fixed. Various rounds of shortlisting with different weightage to marks, cat score, etc etc..
