@ajaygovindg I've already applied for IMT-G. And yes, in case IMI reopens, I'll apply. Apart from these, I've applied to LBSIM, FORE, NIBM (under CAT).
@Bibhu2109 You don't need to have anything extra other than a bit of creativity and an interest in marketing, media management, communications etc. And of course you need to get through their test MICAT first!! :mg:

@erpunit21 You don't need to necessarily choose your field/specialization/electives in MBA now itself. You can tell in the PI that you're open to all areas and would like to explore the basics of everything viz. Marketing, Finance, Operations, IT/Systems, HR & Strategy and then by end of 1st year or after Summer Internship decide which area to get into.
Any work experience is good enough. It depends on what what you've learnt or understood int the process and how you put it across in words as to how it will help in your future career. As far as getting into IT is concerned, the slogan in most IT company recruitment is "Trespassers will be recruited"!! (Although that is a joke said for one leading IT company, its more or less true for all IT firms)
I am getting around 105 in SNAP..I have applied to SIIB,SIBM-Pune.SCMHRD...Could you please let me know if SIIB is a good choice for Aspirants with Work Ex close to 2 years...or should I try another year for better B-Schools..

@fazer55 Hope you don't mind if I answer. 😃 You can expect around 80%tile (if normalization favors) but then your sectionals will be very skewed!!
Consider applying to NIRMA, BIMTECH as of now. Do further research on them before you apply.
For other options get back on this thread after CAT results are announced.
Focus on XAT prep and giving a good exam there as of now. Do keep a tab on your accuracy!! Also if MBA is not a compulsion this year, you may want to think of attempting again next year also!!

@ritsgupta Focus on XAT, Feb CMAT as of now, if you're appearing for it. There are some institutes including some in niche areas like SPM Gandhinagar which look at overall profile and give calls. Under CMAT there are some good institutes like KJSOM, GIM etc. So if you're interested you may want to look at those options.
Otherwise, if MBA is not a compulsion this year I would recommend that you try again next year!!
