@shek90 :except GLIM,WE-SCHOOL,deadlines for all the colleges dat u have asked me to apply is over.so even if I get the percentile u mentioned i dont stand a chance to get throu......so plz tell me wherelse can i apply 4 after the result is declared?
thinking of worst i just applied for IISWBM & VANGUARD BUSINESS SCHOOL

These are not among the Top B-Schools.
Avg Package of these institutes are in the range of 4.5-5.5.
And off late, PSU's have stopped going to B-Schools for recruitment which used to be the major recruiters in colleges like NIT's.
Also, because of bad economic scenarios, the placements have been hit in almost every B-School including the Top one's.
Only advantage of these institutes is their low fee.
Now, you yourself can take a call. All the Best.. !!
@avinashkrjha is it because of global gloomy economic conditions or any new rules, I have read somewhere about a chennai high court decision against PSU hiring from b schools, u have any info plz share, as u r in a b school right now.

I am applying to Symbiosis institute of management studies, pune for 2 years MBA programme and I think i will be able to crack. Is it right decision to study in SIMS, pune at this age? How is this colleges.
@saikatha It started happening long time back that PSU's stopped visiting the top B-schools because they could not get good enough applications both in terms of quality as well as quantity.

Its a descent college...good decision...u can also go for better colleges...Do u have an army background???

@sayanfrndz Ur background mostly matters if u have prior work-ex in that domain. So keep ur options open, and choose wtever subject u like studying or domain u'd like to work in. I have my elder brother who went for FINANCE after his graduation in electrical engg. So it doesn't matter much.
Still if i would have to suggest u a stream(related to ur grad) it'l be operations to some extent.
@sayanfrndz - oh in that case fill SDMIMD, XIME, IMT-Nagpur, IIFM, IMI-bhubaneshwar.
IISWBM is ok. Would not suggest for the other one.

by the way while applying 4 IFMR they are asking to write an essay on the specialization i choose and also on why choose to go 4 MBA,can u suggest me sum points........
