cat percentile is 90....i hv got 60% in graduation ..70% in 12th and 82% in 10th....sir i hv had five baklogs in engg bt i hv cleared them.....i m a fresher with noi work exp.....is there chance f getting a decent b-school???plz help ....plz...as i m worried dat my graduation record is very poor n i won't get a call....vich b-schls shud i apply to with this profile....????

I dont think it makes sense to wait for another year instead i would rather wait for 2 years and try for 1 year program.

So if I have to do a 2 year course, it has to be this year.
Please advise which colleges should i apply to.

I have OA 82.83 (General Category). I need answers to the following 4 questions from someone knowledgeable.

(1) In which colleges do I have significant chance of converting?

(2) I did my B.Tech. in Plastic Technology. Will my off-the-track engineering stream be a hindrance as far as selection is concerned?

(3) I have 21 months of experience in Pearl Polymers Ltd. (Pearlpet) and 6 months of relevant experience from a small packaging firm. Will I be eligible for lateral placements, 2 years down the line? Will my off-the-track engineering experience be a problem at that time?

(4) Do colleges like IISWBM, KJS (IB), BIMTECH have provision of lateral placements? Or lateral placement provision is there only in top-notch b-schools?

Please, please help.

sir i also got placed in wista ( wipro software technology academy) that provide me 4 year off-campus collaborative MS (Information Technology) Program from Vellore Institute of Technology University...and it also give me scholarship varying from 10k to 25k per month from 1st to 4th year and after 4 years they will give me (an MS degree+4 year work experience+5 lac/annum package)....now i am in great confusion what should i do,,i just want good future and hefty salary ??
