Your Academic scores, Work experience, Extra curricular activities etc are considered while giving profile based calls. And nothing can be predicted about the chances of getting profile based call.

@nelansrik HR would not be a very good option for you. I'm not saying you can't excel in HR but then the companies would be reluctant to take you for that profile. the reason being you being from Mining background and having 2+ years of work-ex during the time you would join any B-school. So, the best profiles according to me which you could get into are Marketing and Operations. You can get into any of these profiles and a;so in IT sector. Now a days Indian IT companies are looking out for engineers having work-ex in core sector. So, you need to apply colleges based on these points.
I guess you should definitely target NITIE if by any chance you get a GD/PI call. That would be your best bet. I'm not sure if you would be getting calls from any top IIMs but then some new one could give you a chance. Joining or not joining would be a different matter though.
I would also suggest you to add SJMSoM, VGSoM and other top IITs to the list.
One more thing. If you get interview calls from any of the above mentioned colleges, do show them that you've some knowledge( some only 😃 ) of computer skills and everything else would fall into places.

just come to know that i scored 99.90 percentile in cat-2012....... i didn't filled any of the MBA forms other than cat2012.......i m an CS engineer working in tcs(2 months work-ex).....what good forms are left to be filled .......do reply

You may expect a call from IIMs, further You may fill IITs and MICA .. 😃

NIT Trichy's average placement salary is around 6-6.5 LPA, while that of NIT surathkal is 5.5 LPS.

It is hard to get a call from FMS with this score, even if you get a call, it is hard to convert as it gives 70% weightage to CAT Score.
