@SD100 Both are equally good but I guess XIMB's HR program is older than IMI's HR program. But then the seats in XIMB for HR is more than the seats in IMI for HR. So, one has to make a tradeoff between seats and recognition. Anyway as I said both are equally good so you may first like to prepare for their GD/PIs and then select one among them.

@shu89 You may be shortlisted by some of the newer IIMs because of your good academics and balanced sectionals.
Sorry for another query but should I apply to IITKGP since I have heard the profile there matters a lot? What is the general cut off?
@shu89 Yes, apart from the CAT score your profile would also be considered while giving GD/PI call but then I think your profile is good and there's no harm in applying to VGSoM,IIT. There's a good chance of you getting the call. The minimum cutoff for general candidate this year is 95%ile to apply.
