Not all but few b-schools do this. But not for GD/PI Calls. That is for the Final Convert.
With SNAP 79.949 overall percentile..
Is there any rare chances with SCMHRD or SIBM??
With 82 %ile in SNAP, what colleges would i get?

Sorry but if you belong to general category, then no chances at all :(
@SHRUTI03 said:@souravgShould i apply for nitie n iit's?

@anie0207 said:@ajaygovindg : Is it true that TAPMI will call everibody for gdpi coz website pe kahi nai likha h dat they will call everi applicant for gdpi. Can u clarify
last year they called all who applied. It was not written anywhere then also.
So keep your fingers crossed and apply at your own risk. No body can assure you of this thing...

Hi Shruti & Aravind,
Before applying to any Private colleges, have a think towards govt. colleges where you would have less fees, good campus and overall a dream placement.Apply to IITs & NITs.if you are specific to have a great ROI, then apply to NITK,Surathkal and DMS,pondicherry. Both are good colleges having all above criterias...

Chances for top 3 of snap i.e. SIBM-P, SCMHRD and SIIB are next to impossible, unless you belong to some category.
But still you can apply to SIOM, SITM, SCIT at your own risk

I am a fresher..so even if i get the flagship course(PGPM)..most probably I can get a package of around 12 lacs,at best (I suppose)...
So is it really worth going for..?
I mean if we consider the ROI..
As far as MDI is concerned it is one of the best of the country and a dream for many like me. The fee is somehwat on the other side, but again except few (like FMS, JBIMS, Nitie) everyone is having its fee near to this much only.
17 lakhs fee on their site is for IM (that is a international course where you will be sent abroad for stufy :D). For PGPM and PGDHRM the fee is somewhat 14 lacs, but trust me that it will be money well spent :)
@sudhirmmm I belong to general, what about SIBM B? And what did you mean by saying apply to SIOM, SITM at ur own risk?
@CTrupti said:@sudhirmmmchances for OBC??but i guess symbi dont consider OBC category right?
Well am not too sure on the OBC front, you may confirm this from the site or helpdesk number.
But they do have SC/ST and Kashmiri migrant quota, that I am sure about

Hi mona & Reikan
Having Such CAT score, Apply to all the NITs and IITs. If you are specific about best ROI, Then apply to NITK, Surathkal where you can have less fees and good companies to be placed with.with these CAT score you have descent chances to convert it..

SIBM bangalore is also tough at your score for general category, but you may try.
By at your own risk I mean that since this year for the first time percentile concept has come so nobody can predict, how will they deal with it and what will be the expected cutoffs in terma of percentile.

with 50+ months in workex you should perhaps consider whether a 2yr mba prog is beneficial for you. chances for many colleges seem tough as QA may play spoil sport . you can take a chance with IIT Kpg and other colleges which don't take sectional in consideration.

Hi @Redeemer_911
if you are considering MDI being a fresher to have a good ROI then i think you have taken wrong decision.being a fresher you shouldn't have taken a decision of investing 17 lakhs to have a return for 13 lakhs.Return will be possible if and only if you are being placed with a good company.but do you think you can secure a place in a good company while competing with great experienced minds of MDI?? If you are really rely on better ROI, Then try for colleges like NITK,Surathkal , NIT,trichy , DMS,Pondicherry etc..

U welcome, aravind..one last advice to you "Scenario for being placed in a dream company for Management students are changing very fast.Rather taking admission due to brand name, Consider taking admission with some colleges having good ROI"..
