@supratimd916 what is the avg package for these colleges for IT. If u could state roughly..
Frankly speaking , No college is best for IT , IT constitutes 30-35% of the placement for most of the b-schools .. Larger the batch size more the no of people get into IT companies
IITs have loads of people from IT background so IITB and IIT Kgp to an extent have good IT placements .. rest are not worth mentioning ..

6) are there any gud colleges outside india which offer such courses? if any thn plz send their names..
sir, plz provide me guidance on above queries..

1. Power Management & Energy Management is more or less the same with Energy Mgt covering every aspect of Power Mgt. Petroleum Mgt could also be a part of Energy Mgt. All the 3 are relevant for an Electrical Engg. And all the 3 have a decent scope as far as Jobs are concerned.
2. Depends on You. But mostly Technical with managerial aspects.
3. Check the Placement Figures as given on website and you will get to know which one is better. I won't like to compare them here.
4. That depends on the college you are graduating from and also your previous background and work-ex.
5. NPTI has a cut off %ile of around 70/75. MDI has recently started one course. Check the MDI Website for details. UPES accepts MAT as well afaik. Cut off's are on a lower side.

There are many other colleges where PSU's recruit.
Some of them ---> IIT's, NIT's, IMI, GIM, etc.
I suggest you to check the placement reports of 15/20 Top Colleges other than IIM's. You will find the company list there and will get to know regarding PSU's..
what are better colleges for financial services excluding IIM's
For finance specially, u can go for the niche courses like: KJ somaiya FS, IFMR's Financial Engg, LBSIM (Finance) and some top B schools like MDI, JBIMS, IMI, SP JAIN, GIM etc
Generally every college offers Operations as a specialisation.
There is no specific data available for Placements specific to Ops.
I would suggest you to first apply to all the decent colleges and then decide about joining later on once you get the converts. All the Best..
Thanks a lot sir.....yeah i understand the logic of getting a call first and then converting, but there are some top colleges (like SCMHRD,SIBM,IMT etc) which are not so good in OPERATIONs....so the query
Joining a college just because it is Top-25...But that may not be so good in OPERATION....is it prudent....or to change d course....say i am getting an admit in SCMHRD/IMT-G....so i opt for Marketing?
or there might b a case where a college may b out of Top-25 but may be offering better course in OPERATIONS than any of these top 25.......

As plan B in operation, I will suggest to keep SIOM Nashik as a back up.
Otherwise, for rest of the colleges talked above in your post, I will say it's better not to do MBA in Operations/SCM from them! 😃
Now, to change the stream to marketing etc. depends on you. It has to be your decision if you want to pursue career only in Ops or you can vary it.
