Hi guys congratulations on clearing the ACIO exam, a friend of mine has also cleared the exam and asked to clear the doubts as many of you are in dilemma . I am an ex ACIO-II. Ask your query.
Since many people are getting confused and are pinging me asking the break up of Acio 2 salary, I am giving u guys a rough idea. Show this to any govt employee for more clarity. I have considered the pay in a city for simplification and it is as per 7th pay commission.
Basic pay - 44900/-
HRA ( 24% of basic) - 10776/-
DA = 0
TA - 3600/-
Special Security Allowance (All IB guys get this, refer 7th pc report for more info) - 20% of basic pay - 9000/-
Added to this as an acio you get Remote locality allowance, special duty allowance etc but for simplification I am not considering all that right now.
Total gross pay = 44900 + 10776 + 3600 + 9000 = 68276/-
Deductions (approx value) :
4500 for NPS, 2500 for cgegis, 750 for income tax, 500 for miscellaneous. added it becomes = 8250
Net pay in hand at the minimum = 68276 - 8250 = 60026/-
the value of this 60K i have got by not adding many allowances like RLA, SDA, risk and hardship allowances ( if u are posted in hard locations ) So adding all that it has to cross 62K atleast.
Show this to any experienced person who has/is working in GoI. Dont fall to rumours and get misled.
