Hi there. My interview was today at Bapu dham. Regarding Af and ssq there will be no prob aslong as u follow all the instructions. Three copies of af and ssq are must plus academic documents. Coming to int it was very normal. They asked general ques about yourself background few ques from national security and some general knowledge. The entire discussion lasted for 5-6 minutes. And that depend on the scenario. No need to worry as they are quite cordial. Not a single ques from technical. So good luck.

Attended Interview in Hyderabad today.
It started with Sardarji saying that "Ye tho pagal ho gaya hain" and ended with one of the panel members saying " Its not that you are unfit for this job, but that the job is not good enough for you". All I did was nod and come out.
Its the first time in an interview that the panel members spoke much longer than me . Interview lasted for about 3 minutes most of which was spent on explaining why I should stick with SBH PO job or go for civils.

MY Interview time : 10 - 12 mins.
Guys plz reach the office ON or BEFORE 8 AM so that u wil be relaxed. I have seen guys who came at 9 30 and 10 : 00 and some of them are not even carrying the required certificates which ever they mentioned in the Interview call letter. dnt do duch mistakes and carry all the certificates.
I went to SIB office at 8 AM. we were made to wait in ground floor. At 8 :30 one guy came with a sheet containing list of names and he called one by one. Then he took us to 3 rd floor into a conference hall.
Document verification will be done there and if u have any doubts filling the AF & SSQ forms u can ask them. they will clarify each and every doubt. Most of the guys forget to bring ID proof xerox(not a problem). They ask u to get it from a nearby shop in case if u don't have xerox of ID Proof or any other document.
Coming to the INTERVIEW
After document verification we have been taken to 1st floor in a batch of 5 where they were conducting interviews.
My turn came at 11:50 AM
It was a four member panel
M1: Sikh guy
M2
M3: most probably a south Indian
M4: North - East guy
I opened the door and asked "may I come in sir"
Everyone was busy with their work looking at the papers they were carrying.
Then I asked again "May I come in Sir"(with a loud voice)
then M2 said yes come in.
I entered the room , wished them all and stood beside the chair.
M2 asked my name and then to take a seat. I said thank u sir and sat in the chair.
M4: Which games do u play?
Me: I said cricket.
M1: (at the very next moment) asked me in how many ways a player can get out?
Me: I started answering bowled,catch, run out , stump, lbw and the i said thats it sir. (as I was unable to think in that particular moment)
M1: NO. there are more ways .(I started thinking and couldn't recollect at that moment by looking at his face). later he said hit wicket. and asked me one more way is there. (all the board stated smiling at once). i was thinking so hard but not getting .
then again he said by holding the ball.
M2: what was your father doing?
Me: he is an advocate sir (and then asked me to continue) later I said about my family. Then he asked about my college and the year in which I passed degree(B.tech).
I said about my college and i completed my btech in 2012.
M2: what are u doing since 2012.
Me: In the final year itself I got selected in Wipro through campus recruitment and worked there for 1 year 9 months and resigned it last year in march(2014).
M2: y did u resign?
Me: sir , the project to which I assigned to is a normal project. There is no scope to develop and it is not a challenging task.
M1: Here in IB also some times u have to do a regular work then?
Me : sir, it might be a regular work but the ultimate task is to deal with the internal security of my country. so definitely it would be a challenging role.
M1: Don't expect James bond kind of things?
Me : yes sir, I know as I have read previous work experiences of some guys.
M1: If u have to kill a person, then will u kill?
ME: I said NO sir I wont KILL.
This is where my interview got some heat. Till then it was like one way traffic they were asking question and I was telling them answers one by one. But from then whole panel was involved in the discussion.
When I said "NO. I WONT KILL." all the panel who were sitting relaxed suddenly got up.(I think in the whole process of interviews they haven't heard this kind of answer)
M1: y u wont kill . In James bond movies he will kill to get info right?
Me: sir those were movies. situation is going to be different when it come to real life scenario and I heard IB people don't carry weapons.
M1: If I asked u to shoot at some person then will u shoot or not ?
Me : I said without knowing the exact nature of that person like whether he is a normal civilian or terrorist how can i shoot him sir.
M3: I will shoot him. In fact we all will shoot him.
M4: If u were posted in remote area and any naxalite or terrorist attacked u then will u kill him or not?
Me: In that situation I don't hesitate to kill .
M4: Now u r changing your opinion.
Me: No sir. I said "I wont kill" keeping in the view of common people. But when it comes to a terrorist or naxalite I will definitely kill him sir.
M4: U r thinking too much. In IB we don't need thinkers . we need performers. so what are you?
ME: sir I m a performer as well.
M4: what have you performed in your college?
Me: sir, I participated in dance events
M1: kuchpudi?
Me: no sir. western dance
M1: like Michael jackson
Me: Not exactly like him sir. but mostly like it.
M2: like break dance right .
Me: yes sir.
M2: U r from vizag so can u tel me something about HUDHUD(cyclone)?
ME:Then I said everything about hudhud and the live experience which I have felt. And I also told about food problems past Hudhud.
M2: when did the cyclone warning came?
me: 2 days before Hudhud landfall sir.
M2: y cant u arrange everything before itself?
me: sir , the concept of hudhud is entirely different from what we have known and experienced about the cyclones earlier. Even my parents haven't seen such a kind of cyclone in their past life.
Nobody knows the Intensity & devastating effect it created till we experienced it.
So as usual we thought it like a normal cyclone. But after the destruction it made turning the whole city into a burned forest with all the trees lying on road and current poles were broken and transformers fell down. This is what we experienced in final.
so if next time any cyclone warning comes whether it might be little one or huge, all the people in the city who have experienced hudhud would definitely keep all the basic requirements with them.
then the panel said k u can go.
I said thank you SIRs. and came out of the room
I m satisfied with my Interview overall because I never mind about the answers i have told. But till the end of my interview I was smiling and made eye contact with everyone of the panel member and "MOST IMPORTANT THING IS I DIDN'T MUMBLE". whatever I have said , i said it aloud.
Don't pretend to be someone that u r not. BE what u are and show them what u are....
ADVICE:
Friends Don't think whether your answer is RIGHT or WRONG . They might be checking your confidence levels. Nobody is perfect. Just tell them what ever u feel. Make EYE - CONTACT and don't MUMBLE.
