The hostel is on first come first serve basis....actually wat happens is dat ther r not many ppl who take up hostel coz....last year, dats 4 u, means wid us...hostel was far away from coleg...not many ppl prefer to b teid down by the bus service provided by the colleg...coz ppl hav different class timings. Secondy, lik ourbatch, our senior batch n most probabily yrs too...u will c dat there r many delhites or ppl who can commute frm their home to colleg on a daily basis...so d want for a hostel furthur reduces 😃

hi puys... i converted both imt nagpur n fore...n am having a tough time comparing it... different views from different people...
i know comparisons r not allowed openly so any1 can pm me or give me their contact incase it cant be done openly in this forum... pts favoring imt nag is the imt brand it is carrying , better infra greater cutoffs so better quality pool... for fore placements n prime location is where it has an edge... faculty etc - both r at par... let me know what else i should look for??? i dont have any prob in specialisation since i got finance there which i wanted...n fore i will definitely get that in my 2nd yr of study... plz help puys as both r good instis... , it will be gr8ly appreciated...

As said earlier...firstly, present situation- FORE is doin better than NIRMA n constantly improvin by leaps n bounds:) two years down d line, FORE is bound to do better coz of its locational advantage.. As far is 50K is concerned, still go for FORE, coz wen u enter d coleg n start knowin d nitty grittys of loan payment n all u will find dat a brighter future, wid a gud placement, is much mor imp dan these initial 50K 😃

Luk dude, firstly u do MBA from a top-B School bcoz u wanna get a gud placement...n location always is a boon for the same..:) in infra n all also FORE is quite competetive....dats why it is where it is right now..
N dnt compare wrt cut-offs in case of private institutions..instead....talk abt their present n past batch performances.
As far as the brand goes IMT Ghaziaad is a brand...nt just IMT...every colleg builds itself, with due course of time...in case of IMT-N, may b nt frm scratch 😃

Yes u r spot on!!...hostel is not in the colleg premises...the hostel is likely to change...move closer to the colleg....not for sure though
Conveyance wud b provided....it takes abt 20mins to get frm hostel to colleg wher v stay now...but if it wud change to the new location, den it wud take hardly 5mins 😃

U need not to worry abt the stream now....first year's subjects r common for all, Electives r selected for the second year, n u do dat on the basis of yr intended specialization. 😃
u wud hav to select yr electives at the end of third trim.
is thr anything like u will be allowed to take electives after 3rd trim... only on the basis of performance in first 3 trims ... (i m gud in studies ..but asked just for info )
also does Fore gives the option of Dual Specialisation? and BTW can u throw some light on... what exactly this Dual Specialisation is? I dont have much idea abt it

look...firstly, u wud hav to select 12 subjects out of a list of given subjects...to b studied durin yr 2nd year..apart frm yr compulsory ones 😃 If u hav a CGPA of greater than 3 for yr first year, den u wud b eligible to to select 2 audits...dnt get much into detail now..
A DUAL SPECIALIZATION is wher, if u select 5 or mor dan 5 subjects in a particular stream, in yr electives, u r termed to b specialized in dat field...so u can go for a dual or lik just pick as n wat u wish to pick as per yr likin n interest....n dnt go too deep into it as of now....its no use for u 😃
