well seroiuosly buddy if u want to make it to FORE nd u want me to help u out with "your" objectives of joining the programme then i seriously m concerned for your future selection rounds..... i cant tell ur objective...bt jst be honest and "think" why u really want to do an MBA ...whatever u write is going to effect ur interview so be very cautious and clear...and haan regarding 3-4 lines..its said "brevity is the soul of wit"....hope u understand best of luck...
Please help me with the cut offs for PGDBM and PGDBM(IB). I heard its 90 for PGDBM is it same for the IB course as well?
guys pls go through the previous posts before a query...these general questions have been asked many times b4.... yes it was 90+ alongwith sectional cutoffs...d exact details of the sectioanl cutoffs is given in d mandatory disclosure on the website... expect it to be around 92-94% for PGDM and around 90% for PGDM(IB) for this year...
Sir, I m yet to receive my admit card,bt hv got the cat reg:no from the official cat2007 site.I hv downloaded the online FORE form,but it's mentioned that one has to enclose the photocopy of the admit card,but i dont wanna wait till that long bcoz the last date for application is not too far. What should i do?should i send the form without the photocopy of admit card?or wait indefinitely? Waiting for ur reply

I am having a wrk ex(software) of more then 14 mnths now and graduate from engg. i wanted to ask the cutoff for FORE. and would the cut off be lower for people with wrk ex. and individual cutoffs for section is also there....is that so....if yes wat r they???
d FORE call is sent after considering various factors..acads,wrk ex,cat %,even the college u graduated from so if u have a very gud wrk ex in a very reputed company den u mite get a call but considering all this, the cutoff was 90% this year alongwith sectional cutoffs...so u need to score atleat 90% and will have to clear the sectional cutoffs as well..d details r on d website in mandatory disclosure... to be on a safe side score as high as u can and try to clear d sectional cutoffs as well... d most difficult thing about the FORE sectional cutoff is dat its not fixed ..it depends on the paper and the general trend....so it mite be higher for one section and lower for another...so be very sure about the minimum score u need to clear the particular sectioanl cutoff...

yes the fore applicatons forms are to b sent to the above mentioned address...the address is also given in the company sponsored certificate attachment tht u get if u had dnloaded the appln form from website.... ALL THE BEST FOR THE D-day dude

I heard that the sectional cut off's for FORE were different from those of IIM , how do they arrive at this cut off and if the percentile of FORE was given as 88%ile last yr. then what were the sectional cut off's

Forget him dude, write about how u think doing PGDM from fore is related to your long term career goals, like being an enterpreneur etc.. how do u think you have the aptitutde for doing an MBA.. write general things about yourself, like leadership qualities, abilities to learn, thinking on your feet and how u think u'll enhance them after joining PGDM@ fore
I have a silly doubt. In the adversitement they have given last date of form availability as Nov 14th. Does it hold for online application too? I am planning to download and apply by tomo. Its ok only know.

I did get both the forms yesterday and the basic difference between the program's is that PGDBM (General mgmt.) involves all subjects based on an overview of management for the first year and there is an option of taking up a specialization in the 2nd yr.
PGDMB (IBM) o the other hand is a specific course for Business Mgmt. with a lot of emphasis on International Management and Globalization subjects.
P.S. - I think the form sale ended today from the counter @ FORE , not sure about online forms.
