Please help me with the cut offs for PGDBM and PGDBM(IB). I heard its 90 for PGDBM is it same for the IB course as well?
I've not received the cat admit card yet . It is mentioned in the form that we have to attach the photocopy of the admit card . I've called iim indore and they told that the duplicate admit card would be issued .
can i send the form without the photocopy of admit card ( iknow my cat reg no.). please reply asap

hey i havent recieved my admit card either...i mailed the admin at IIM indore, but havent recieved any reply...nor are they picking up the phone :(
by when did they say u wud et a duplicate card?

fore pgdm admission form asks you about your experience but doesnt tell the date upto which experience has to be specified
if i have joined some organisation in august 2007 then till what date should i show my experience

First of all Iwould congratulates and wish U good luck for ur future.I am still trying to make my way into India's top b-school.So,Fore is natural choice.As I had appeared in last CAT and got 89percentil.But this time I wil try to clear the cut-off.
But my concern is that I have poor academics i.e. B.E.(53%),12(59%),10(72%).I have been working in a small company as a Software enginner since last 15 months.So I just wanted to know,that does it makes sense to get a call from FORE after clearing the cut-off.I heard that FORE put more emphasis on academics.(I am asking about final call after performing reasonably well).
Plz answer my queries soon as few days r left.

well amit ,ritesh has already left d campus and is working for CItigroup....anyways thanks for ur wishes to the FOREians....
if u perform well in the second round after getting d call then u shud obviously make it...but remember this "good" is relative ..if d other candidates do better than you then u wont ...so if you have to make it finally to this campus then don't be satisfied with "good"..be the "best"...
regarding ur academics...agreed u don't hv a great track...but u can make it by your wrk exp.....FORE gives certain weightages to different components and if u lose out in acads u can make it by other components such as great performance in gd/pi and wrk exp...
if ur talking about the emphasis on acads once u join FORE then u yes...FORE is famous for the academic rigour but it is also famous for the autonomy of the student councils....everything at FORE ..from placements to sports is being handled by students themselves and you can only dream of the empowerment these bodies enjoy....

well call up the admission office and ask them ...you can quote ur CAT registration no. or the FORE form no....
i guess it shud nt be a problem and u can send it later...but ask the admission office...
query not answered and i didn't get my admit card either...so the query is still valid

see ideally u shud send it with the form..but u can always call the admission office and ask...if ur problem persists then let me know i will try to find out from the admissions.....
