Any Queries for FORE School of Management?

FORE is an institute that takes into account X, XII and Grad marks + Work ex. + CAT Score. Is it true?
I have a CAT score of 89.39. I have more than 80% in my X, XII and B.E. with good extra curricular as well.
I also have a work ex. of 19 months.
Do I stand a chance as my %iles are slightly less than 90?
Pls enlighten..

u stand a good chance if the cut offs don't go up from what they were last year. start preparing for GD and PI in any case. all the very best.

FORE looks for diversity in its students. we have a good mix of people from various backgrounds in our batch. but i'm not sure if they take work ex into consideration while giving the calls. but keep ur fingers crossed.

please can u tell me the expected cut off this year for IB course....and when do they start calling for gd/pi...

last year the calls for IB came out really late. so we cannot go by it. we'll have to wait and watch to see what it'll turn out to be. i think the calls would be out around the same time as the PGDM course.

Regarding the 2nd and the 3rd list, will someone be called under these list right in the phase of GD/PI? I mean, last year, 1200 applicants were called for the GD/PI. Will the 2nd and the 3rd list be out if a few of them do not turn up for GD/PI or is it that 2nd and 3rd list is for those who have finished their GD/PI and are awaiting final call from FORE...?

the 2nd and 3rd list r after the GD and PI. it is for the final selection. the GD and PI are conducted for the shortlisted 1200. doesn't make any difference if some don't come.

it is lower than PGDM course. but how much lower, we'll have to see nly this year.

I have scored 92.77 % in cat and have 25 months of work ex...any chance to pop in for GD/PI and can any one lemme know that wen the list will b out and do FORE chks for sectional cut off...

For IB yes...
But for General i dont think so... the cut off last yr was 90%ile n Fore is quite strict abt that...
i know coz i have a frnd there...

After my CAT my estimation said that i will score something arnd 85-88 so i applied for IB... but my actual CAT score is 90.55 so cud have applied to the general as well...
anyways no regrets!!!
