That doesn't count as work-ex, unless you are ready to produce pay-slips.

If you want to add your work-ex in your father's business, it would add to your profile, but it won't be treated as work-ex.

i heard last year d last date fr submitting form was extended......
wht ws d reason????
maybe smethin lyk can happen dis year also.......
if such thing happens ve hv d option to fill d form after cat

yeah last year date was extended...reason not disclosed...but it is obvious i guess ...sth similar can also happen this year ..but in case it doesnt happen ...then what so dear do not think of saving a few thousand rupees on form ..it can cost heavily

Please excuse me if this Q has already been answered on the thread... but i could not find any info on this.

Also, can anyone differentiate between PGDM and IBM programs with respect to course content and career prospects.

I have taken a printout of the application form and filled it up.

My query is reg. the DD though.I din' find it anywhere mentioned that the DD has to be drawn on any of the nationalised banks and so have got on emade from ICICI FOR rs . 1550...an issues with this...?please respond as i have to send the from in a day or two...?

ps : i am asking this as one of my colleagues mentioned that we need to take a dd on any of the nationalised banks and not private ones.But i haven' anythng like this mentioned on the website...

yeah i guess privatised banks dd are not accepted aneways i will confirm tomoorow if u can plss wait till tomorrow ...

last yr cut off was 91 percentile
so u can decide urself wat could be the safe bet this tym
but cut off can jump drastcally depends on number of applications recieved
for eg last yr IMI cut off jumped to 96 from somewhr around 92 in the previous yr

i'm really confused about FORE. is it's average salary really somewhere around 8 lakhs as it is claimed on the website or is it merely a tall claim?

also, what is the expected percentile cut-off for FORE?

where does it stand in comparison to IMI, LBSIM, BIMTECH, IILM and UBS, Chandigarh?

i'd be really thankful if u ppl can thrown some light on these issues.

Hi Ppl,

I have downloaded the application-form for PGDM from the website but here on I have few queries. Please resolve them.

Q1. Demand draft should be of Rs 1500 or Rs 1550 ? I have this doubt because in my case I have downloaded the form so that FORE doesn't have to post the application form to me.
Q2. Demand draft should be in favor of whom and where should it be payable at ?
Q3. Apart from Demand draft what other enclosures are needed to be sent along with the DOWNLOADED application form ?

after diploma i have taken admission in 2nd year of BSC_IT (Bachelor of Science in information technology) through Lateral Entry. and it is distance education Program and i have done it in 2 years by appearing in 2nd and 3rd year. which is equivalent to three years bachelors degree. so can i apply to FSM for Mba programs through giving cat 08 , as according to CAT notification i am eligible to appear in CAT.
and my CAT form has been accepted

the average salary at FORE last yr was 8 LAKH
but this yr most probably its going to decline
as u all mst hv read a newspaper quoting average salary at IIMs dipping by 20 to 30% ...so can be the case at FORE also,..though the placemnet week yet to start
