hey guys....i wanted to apply to FORE....have given cat2008 n expecting 93-94%ile wid balanced sectional scores....m in btech final yr....plz tell me how to apply for this college n whether my score is gud enuf for it??
bhavi!!! the score u r expecting is more than sufficient for FORE..the cutoff was 90 %ile last year but i guess all the dates r over..jst confirm it from admissions office. FYI go to FORE website...chek out d mandatory disclosure,which says "THE FOLLOWING IS THE CUT OFF ON THE BASIS OF WHICH THE CANDIDATES HAVE BEEN SHORTLISTED FOR THE GD/PI FOR TWO YEAR FULL TIME PGDM PROGRAMME-2008-10: General Candidates - OVERALL CAT PECENTILE : 90 AND ABOVE - SECTIONAL CUT OFF PERCENTILE - LOGICAL AND DATA INTERPRATATION (LDI) : 58.65 AND ABOVE - VERBAL : 42.5 AND ABOVE - QUANTITATIVE : 59.65 AND ABOVE Company Sponsored Candidates The cut off for the company sponsored candidate is overall 75 Percentile and above. However, the candidates who have scored ZERO percentage in any of the three sections are not shortlisted, even if they have scored more than 75 percentile"

bunch of colleges Tapmi, KJSOM, nirma,LBS delhi aprt from FORE. IMT nagpur is not that gud,but u can count it after these IMI HR is also there if u r interested. BIM cutoff was unexpectedly high last year 95%ile.

hey buddy!! u will be amazed to know that the placement scene is same for BOTH the programme at FORE....the general and the IB...U would be lucky to join FORE for IB as at comparatively low percentile u r enjoying the benifits of the flagship programme at FORE.Moreover the first batch would be out this year, so complete stats not availaible till yet. But a good deal to join IB!! cheers and best of luck

hello seniors my overall score is -97 with decent enuff secs.. ACADS- Xth-89.4% XIIth-92.5% btech-72.8%(electronics n communication) fresher...!! extra curr- have participated n won sum prizes in debate,elocution ,etc...

dude!!! it's too subjective.u need to understand that getting percentile is not just enuf but yes the maximum weightage goes to written score. and moreover FYI i have a frnd at FORE who had 98 %ile but was in the waiting list of FORE..so other things also counts...ur background,ur percentages and the most ,how u put urself across the panel...i feel u have decent grad score and good percentile...so just hold ur breath and do the best. Suggestions:go thorugh the recent news...US ELECTIONS effect on INDIA, elections INDIA, terror attacks,PAKISTAN Scene,Recesssion, growth rate ,Oil ,ruppee depreciation and bollywood.These would be the hot favs ...i guess this year...not jst for GDs but also for PI..other part would be jst to hang around and divert ur PI to ur core competencies... rest we all r waiting for u to be here. I guess, i tried to answer ur querry to the best of my knowledge, if not u could shoot ur querries ,we r here anytime to help u out cheers and best of luck

hi vishal, i guess u should call the admission office for this issue and confirm for the same,whther they have recived ur form or not and i must suggest u ,u should do it ASAP as tomorrow i guess result is awaited and hence things gonna change soon.
