I got selected for PGDM. My questions - 1. I am interested in Finance. How is the faculty for Fin in Fore? 2. Not for this yr , last yr which good companies visited from finance ? 3. Is there any relation between your marks in trimesters , in FORE to the package / offer you get in PGDM ?

faculty for finance is gud.... senior faculties r their infact for finance..and other guest faculties r also called for...
comapnies such as CITIBANK>>>SBI>>>DELOITTE>>HDFC were the ones which were common last year also who came..
not , there is no realation.... but yes if u belong to finance ur CGPA matters....it shld be gud enuf..for others specialisation..it is how u perform. dont think abt alll this.... , this r miniscule things which shld not be looked for..and u cant compre colleges in this basis... to make a point clear....every time i have seen...gudy wid less CGPA gettin best of packages....in marketing...specially..so depends upon person
i will like to answer ur querries partially...as some data is beyond my scope.. and willnot like to speak on it... FORE:clap: is gud for marketing and HR..u heard a wrong thing abt FORE....hwo many HR...download the placement brochure from site.....to improve ur analytical skills...jst kidding...u can download the same..and do the needful yeah delhites get hstel...many of my frnds are living here...they also belong to delhi...must tell u seats r limited..get urself regstered ASAP..once u get the letter.. timings mostly... 9:30 to 5:15...5 lectures..out of which..mostly...2-3-4 takes place...so soemtimes 9:30-1:45 pm smetimes 11-4 etc... u will njoy..!!! all the best...hope i answred many of ur querries...keep pouring ur doubts..sorrry for not answering soem of ur questns..

hi can u tell me hwz ib as a course from fore,... actually i wanna go in finance so my concern is that do the finance companies prefer only students from pgdm course only or do they consider students from ib also...coz i have heard that international business is related to marketing only??? please reply thanks in advance

there is famous saying...too much analysis leads to paralysis..:clap: these things are bound not to be discussed....let me tell u.... i must say ADITI stipend ois Rs "ZERO" bcas what matters to us as a a FOREian is the profile nad companies...and i personally dnt like to comment abt stipend...other seniors if they really want to tell they can tell it... bcas .. u knw it....ADITI..coem join us ..u will get to know.... welcome on board

Going thro other posts I guess hostel is not in same campus as college.. saying that, would also like to have some idea about the infrastructure (with every other review of college coming good, this is final set of queries i need to clear up for myself..)..
On primary theme.. Can you pls give some idea how far is hostel from college and wats the hostel facilities and condition like.. including food and sundry amenities..
It would be great, if any Puy planning to join this yr has visited the campus and could share the ideas will junta here..

Hi Nikhil, I have visited the hostels..Its hardly a Km frm the campus..The locality isn the best bt the rooms r gud enough...With respect to infrastructure its pretty gud..Although no sports facilities as in residential b skls bt the basic hostel facilties r well managed...U mite have gt the letter frm FORE as well...The facilities provided r mentioned there as well...

hstl is near abt 7 minutes walk from collge.. other facilities.. 24 hrs electricity back up 24 hrs watersupply.. water cooler for drinking.. 2 seater... attcheds lat-bath geysers :2 on each floor must say better than MBA and engg . colleges..where u need to share bathrooms.. only thing i dnt like is FOOD..as i have never lived in hstel... the ones who have lived say its manageable...comparing their past experiences... i lived in hsotel for first year...and wld continue to do so for second year..that could give u a picture...HOSTEL is gud
Does anyone know how many people have been waitlisted at fore(pgdm and pgdm ib)....approx?? They have nt disclosed the waiting number.... Also what are the chances of converting the call if you are in the waitlist...??? it is not that all the people in the waitlist are gonna clear it and get the seat.. what are the chances of clearing the waitlist??? Please reply ....any guesses...

I think he no of people waitlisted for PGDM must be around 100+ and for IB more than 60. Just a guess....

normally the complete firsst waiting list gets cleared and the mgt takes out a second list also (thats what the previous trends were) so keep ur fingers crossed and hope for the bst

i am also not very much sure...but some one was telling me that in waiting list... all r given call. the ones who do the firmalities first r given chance, not very sure... but my experience says it follows order..and yeah...i misused the term partially ..i appologise for the wrong wrd used
