I'm from Bhopal too. Are you aware of any coaching classes for GMAT prep in bhopal? I'm planning to write GMAT around 15th September but want to join some class so that I will be regular with it.
hey! nice to see someone finally! There is max abroad at MP Nagar but I am particularly disappointed with the staff. But ya if you want to join test series or something it should not be too bad. Besides if you havent taken a date yet, do it fast bcuz slots are all full for september already!

Thanks again. I went to that center today. They asked me to join from tomorrow itself. How has your experience been so far? Is it worth joining?
Pathfinder also has classes from 9th August.
I dint join the place.. i went for a diagnostic test and the centre director swarmed me with PERSONAL questions...! since i am an ex Google emplyee and her Gmail A/C was hacked she asked me a million Qs. She was just not interested in how my diagnostic test was. when i told them i am aiming at ISB and NUS they gave me weird looks. I think they cater to B+ US universities and some UK and AU stuff. I was so put off I never went back.
But may be I am a one-off and you might have a good experience there. Let me know how it goes.

I am no more in Bhopal. Though I am done with the test.
Self study, without a speck of doubt is the best. In fact the ordeal with joining some coaching is to get some discipline, if one thinks there is a problem with that. When you meet people doing the same thing you sort of get fired up in your preps. Other than that it is a self study game.
I got a 680 on the test and am not planning to retake it. I will settle with what I have (I knw its too less!) but will apply with that score nonetheless! Hoping my profile will help me a bit and that I can churn out good essays!
Best of luck to everyone who is preparing. If you are in a small town, make full use of the time you save with less travel time to and fro work etc. I did not do that and ended up taking the test after I moved to Bangalore...sigh!

i'm also prepariong for GMAT in bhopal and have 2 months with me,,,,,,,, i am looking for the a coaching institute here in bhopal ,,heard about Max Abroad ,,also went over there but the person is not allowing for a single demo class,,, cld u kindly guide me about any other GMAT classes here ,,,
also what sld be the study strategy to be followed ,like self atudy as u told is the best,,but am not that good in Verbal, so i was more concerned towards that area,,

The approx sum of money required for studying abroad depends on the University you are targeting at, and also the city you are going to live in. There are around more than 3800 Universities/colleges in US to choose from.Some of them are very costly but some are moderately expensive.So you cannot generalize on the issue of affordability.I hope this answers your question.
Well, so far as a good coaching center in Bhopal is concerned, there is also an institute called "World Wide Education" in Soma Towers, M.P.Nagar Bhopal which is being rated as one of the top most ones.
Honestly speaking most of the tier-II cities don't have good coaching institutes for GMAT simply because people who are good at teaching GMAT live mostly in the top 4-5 Indian metro cities. I think you should gather the right books and get going with your prep yourself
