I have just completed my graduation in Computer Engineering from University of Pune. My profile(10th-82.15%, 12th-84.83% and Engineering aggregate 58.17%). Currently I am searching for a job and simultaneously preparing for CAT-14. But I want to know is MBA overseas beneficial than MBA in India? Also what is minimum work experience for applying for GMAT? Also any more information about GMAT would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
Hi I have 3 years of work experience in the power sector. Completed my B.Tech in Electrical engg. from NIT Kurukshetra, CG-9.0. 10th=88%, 12th=88%. Gave GMAT in July, scored 600 (V=21, Quant=50), very week in verbal and do not know how to improve. Kindly suggest. Also is it preferable to go for GRE rather then GMAT, with work ex. of just 3 years. I am aiming to get into a good university, MS or MBA, whichever will be better.

HI All,
I have 6 years experience in IT. Now I am really tired with respect to coding and no longer enjoy it and want a shift. So I have decided for an MBA with my interest being in marketing.
I would like to know what role an IT associate can get post MBA (marketing) and career prospects for below options
1.Pre sales in IT ?
2.Marketing in FMCG ( do they really consider folks with such high experience?)
3.product management ( how easy it is to crack it)
Note :- I don't want a Business analyst role
( Have a home loan so need to really think it through!!!)

Hi Guys..I am planning to apply to LBS this year..Do you know any admission consultants who could help me? Consultants who have successfully helped in getting admissions into LBS MBA?

Also any recomendations with regards to good consultants for HBS will help. I plan to apply in R1.
In need of some help here! Bear with the long wall of text.
I finished my BE in Civil in 2012 with an aggregate of 80%. Since then I have dipped my toes into the world of Aviation and tried getting a job as a pilot. Needless to say that did not work out too well and now I would like to get my MBA from abroad from a sufficiently respectable university. Am i right in thinking i would not be accepted in the top universities since i neither have the requisite work experience nor do i have a good enough reason to explain this gap since my engg degree?
Is pursuing an MBA a completely lost cause now? If not, then are there any specific coaching centers that would help me get there?
I'd appreciate any help.
Hi. I need to know which institute provides the best online test series for GMAT. Money is not an issue provided the tests are worth it! Only genuine comments please..!
P.S. : For people from 'coaching institutes', please refrain from 'advertising' here !!
Hi, my query is related to how important are academic scores in applying for an executive 1 year program. I have a work ex of 5+ yrs in Finance & Accounts with an US based EPCM Co. I have been an average student throughout & my scores were pretty low in 10th and B.com (Hons) Graduation. I don't have any significant achievement in extra curricular activity either.
Please suggest if I can get a good B-school, if I score around 680 + in GMAT.
If yes, then please suggest some good B-schools where my profile would be accepted.
I have given gmat about a week ago...but dint get a desired score...if i decide to give another shot...which will latest be in october.....is there sufficient time left for application process of US B schools ?
I am confused whether I should take Kaplan premiere 2015 with 6 practice tests or Princeton review 2015 with 6 practice tests. Which is better and more accurate?
I am currently preparing for my second attempt and have already used the 4 GMAT Prep mock tests for my first attempt.
